Ep82gi Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 So guys n girls I have had this issue with the gi ever since I bought it and I've racked my brains to find out what it is and I have had no luck. So driving down a motorway doing 70mph @3k rpm The EML come on and will stay on until I either stick my foot down. The light will go off around 3.5k rpm or if I take my foot off the throttle and let the idle come Down to 2.8k rpm or lower. I have tried bridging the diagnostics ports to read the code but it never shows one. I also tried running Down a bypass @70 mph to get it to come on then keeping there untill I can see a lay by then killing the ignition with the key and pulling over. This kept the light on but once I bridged the ports and got back in the car to get a fault code. Nothing comes up. Any help with this would be great as i have been doing my tree about it for ages now and I would just like it to stop happening. Thanks Liam Quote
Stu Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Have you tried driving it in diagnostic mode and seeing if it will start throwing a code that way? Will be really lazy to drive as it locks the timing in diag mode. Quote
