Flynn Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Hoping to find someone willing to measure their cage for me as I'm wanting to modify my non sunroof cage for my sunroof ep91?Would massively appreciate the help. Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I had 1 fitted to my sunroof glanza..Took a little bit of measuring but nothing to taxing. The key is get the part of cage between a to b pillar fitted before attempt rear part.At the front i took 1 inch out first then took as much as required till it fitted.I think 63mm lower is the roof in a sunroof model. Flynn Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 Mines a GT cage so is already slightly lower I'm told. How many of the bars did you have to cut? Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 All front 4.And 1 rear i beleive.Dude you just got to measure it up Quote
Flynn Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 Fucks sake.........was hoping for an easy one lol Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Na never easy..Start with the piece that goes in between the b pillars.Once that is fitted you work out rest easy enough. Quote
Flynn Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 I'd guessed the front and centre bars would have to be chopped but not the rears, but I spose it makes sense that they'd all need the grinder treatment to get it fitted well! Quote
glanzagee Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 remove roof skin and replace for non sunroof skinor remove sunroof cassette and panel it up ps sunroof weight is aproxx 25kg Quote
Flynn Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 I suppose that's an option.......I'd rather it wasn't a sunroof model. How much of an arsehole is changing the roof skin though? Quote
