Rmcleish71 Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 hi building myself a fresh engine have bought a block from jdm ep however whilst shopping for the next stage of parts I've seen that theres two different oil pumps one with the seal in the pump and one with the seal in the block due to not knowing what my block was in originally in what pump should i buy? ryan Quote Link to post Share on other sites
GP82 Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 You look where the pump seats on the block. The pump with the seal will have a groove in the block for it, this is EP91 cylinder block. The EP82 block has flat face and no groove for seal. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
