speermint Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Do you need a standalone/ plug and play to map a glanza or can you map the standard ecu? Quote
GP82 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 You cannot map the standard ecu but, you can add a piggybank to it like an E-manage, AEM Fic etc or you go full standalone for the best and safe engine control. There are also the plug and play ecu's which work great but, only if you know what engine settings the ecu is made for. Quote
speermint Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 So safest bet is standalone? Thanks buddy! Quote
morgey Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Could always get an emerald ecu next time you're back in watton... 😜 Quote
speermint Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 Im back this weekend mate but all my funds went on the new engine, but i will be in touch about that one buddy ;) Quote
morgey Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Emerald are based up on griston road industrial state mate, dont fit but can supply and map them and dave is the guy that designed them. Due to how local it is its worth swinging by and asking 👍 Quote
