turbo-fever
I will try keep it short, I have a 5efte running an eBay td05 16g turbo at about 16psi. im having turbo rebuilt as blades are bit nackered and I want to run about 20-22 psi as I would like to get close to 350hp. My question is I'm having a billet wheel put in and an uprated bearing but the person building my turbo has asked if I want the 18g turbine put in, is it worth it ? How bad will the lag be compared to leaving out ? Any insight would be brilliant cheers
5e colin
i would suggest to fuck the ebay turbo in the bin !!! it spools slower then a genuine subaru tdo5 !!! buy a second hand genuine tdo5 and get that rebuild or buy a mamba upgrade kit for the tdo5 of the upgraded core kit for the tdo5 rady made of the same crowd its plug and play then for 400 to 500euros

5e colin
the center shaft is fatter and the compressor wheeel is heavier to it makes no sense to rebuild its going to cost more then the price they are on the bay thats just my 2c no offence
turbo-fever
The person building it is doing me a good deal using decent parts it's half the price of another turbo. It's going to be a whole new turbo
turbo-fever
Be a lot better then buying a mamba kit will be properly balanced
