sosolid
So i decided to check the timing of my car. Below is a link that shows you how to do it. One part im stuck on is, you need to bridge out TE1 and E1 first then, start the car, then adjust the distributor to get 10 degrees, then tighten the distributor bolts and then do you unbridge TE1 and E1 while engine is running or do you just shut the engine off and then unbridge the connection? Also when the engine is running do i wait for it to heat up or can i check timing when cold???? And do you look at the 0 on the crank or the 10 when adjusting timing? http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showwiki.php?title=How+to+set+timing Edited March 10, 2016 by sosolid
