damdrifting Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Hi everyone, I finished my 4e-fte swap in my corolla EE90. The engine start very well but after 5-6 seconds it stalls ... I wanted keep accelerated to maintain the engine speed , but nothing changed . The engine stalled again . i have checked if there were air intake : nothing Can you advise me ? AlbertaBeef Posted July 8, 2018 Share Posted July 8, 2018 If it stalls due to a very low idle, and the code is a dirty idle control valve, I'd definitely clean the idle control valve. =D also, there's an idle speed adjustment screw on the intake, right side on the back-side (nearest the vehicle firewall) under a little round rubber cover about 1cm round.
