    There's two coolant pipes that go into your throttle body (cold start) you might have put 1 on vac hose and pumped water in.

    Take your dv/bov off n throw it in the bin As for lag running no bov is couple of tenths quicker flat out driving. don't worry about damage most turbo's fail due to over speed. Filter will have no effect on noise.
