Hi, if anyone has managed to get a quote for a glanza in the last month or so, please let me know who it was with. I have called so many companies (used a list off TGTT) and given them a number plate as reference for the car but no one can give me a quote adrian flux gave a quote a few weeks ago but they wanted £2500 3rd party so that doesnt count! yes I've looked in the insurance thread and I've read around on this site

the only ones i have found are adrian flux and a sub part (or something) of norwich union (needed to be 21). i think your best bet is to make sure you have a number plate for them to check with the DVLA, thats what bell told me would mean i could get a quote

i got a quote off admiral for a ep82 GT, then this morning they called me so i asked about the glanza. I tried to explain in all ways how he might be able to find it on their system but he said they didnt have it WTF is going on!

yeh, maybe i didnt stress the fact its an import enough. might give them another call since quite a few people reccomend elephant

i forgot, i called elephant and they said they dont do either the GT or glanza (or maybe i didnt ask about the GT )

im 20 with 0 NCD and 3 points (SP30) and i want to get a decent price on a glanza so far i have called... Bell - they quoted £840 for Starlet GT but dont do the glanza Adrian Flux - £2500 3rd party for a glanza A-plan - said you need to be 23 and have 3yrs no claims to get comp insurance Norwich union - need to be 21+ any reccomendations? i had a look at the insurance thread but it didnt really help maybe i should just convince myself the GT is a better car

I did a quote online for a Starlet GT and it seemed like a decent quote at £850, so i rang them up to see what it would be for a glanza and the woman on the phone said they dont actually have the glanza or the GT on their system, even though she could see my quote for the GT Should i call them back and hope for someone who isnt as plain stupid as her or try somewhere else? anyone got predictions on what my glanza quote will come out at if its £850 for the GT?

and the result is ... 3 points, £60 fine + £43 court costs, so most people were right very good result

i hope i only get 3 points and £60 fine, would be good for my insurance! il post up what the result is in a few days

Hi, i got caught speeding, 56mph in a 30 zone (not good!). anyway, the court date is soon and i was wondering how many points you lot think i might get heres a pic of the area: im going from left to right (60mph road), and got caught literally just after getting into the 30 limit. By the time i reached the blue line id slowed right down but the police man popped out the hedge to pull me over (he was at the yellow dot). the police mans statement says there were no other cars on the road and it was good weather conditions. Am i looking at 6 points and £120+ fine?

who cares about legs when you have a nice glanza it will prob be around august for me anyways by the time i get round to it ... the race is on!

they all look good but i dont want to end up with a car that constantly has problems, like my mates punto GT. Also i want to keep insurance down (20yrs old) 225bhp is tempting though

Hi, im hoping to get a glanza in the near future and i have a few questions... LINK - does this look like a good price? (obviously would need a proper look over). The garage also said for £500 extra it would have a 3year warranty. is this worth it? also, is there much difference for insurance quotes between starlet GTs and glanzas? I've done some quotes online but they only listed starlet so im hoping quotes will be about the same (i looked in the stamped insurance thread). cheers
