I have a 1999 ep91 SR. needs outer cv joint drivers side. No ABS. Toyota Dealer says the joint cannot be removed and I must buy a complete shaft at £250 plus VAT. Is there a way around this expense? Help please.

Running an ep91 as a road rally car using 15ins x 6ins wheels Toyo Proxy tyres and having problems getting the rear wheels to lock on dry tarmac with the handbrake. Advice please what pads would be best?? Currently using standard apec pads

Here is the story. I have built an ep91 car for rallying. It is a ep91 1.3 sr 1999. The previous owner changed the engine to a 1.5 paeso unit don't know the year. The engine is running on a 4e fe engine control unit 89661 - 10181. I want to change to the 1.5 ecu. I have a unit 89661 - 16490 5E-FE MT. When I plug in the 1.5 unit the engine starts runs for a few seconds and then cuts out. I am advised it may have something to do with the immobiliser? I have no idea! Can anyone help please??

What I am asking is if I fit a 1.5 ecu to my 1.5 engine will it perform better than the 1.3 ecu it is currently running on.

Folks I need advice. I am running a 1.5 Paseo engine using i think an ECU from 1.3 EP91 (89661-10181. 211000-6571). I did not do the engine change. It seems to run Ok just feel it is short of power. Would there be any difference in the two units. And if so what is the part code for the Paseo unit.

Looking for a 4E FE 1332 to build for my rally car. The class does not allow a turbo. Which year of engine and ecu is best to start with? I understand there have been a number of changes over the years with the earlier engines producing more power? I have a 1999 (ep91).

I want to replace the two gearbox and one engine mounting standard bushes in my EP91 1999 SR non turbo with competition bushes. Does anyone know the diameter of the bushes?

Thanks problem solved used a pin from a nova needed a bit of modification but works through mot now.

I need competition bushes for the engine and gearbox mountings for my ep91 non turbo Starlet SR. Can someone point me in the right direction? Are the bushes the same size asin the turbo version of the car?

I have fitted a OMP Boss and steering wheel on my ep91 SR. Removed the airbag now problem with horn. I have had a suggestion I use a switch from a non air bag car that would sit under the bass ring at the bottom of the boss. Any ideas folks please if this works does anyone have this part.
