thanks again will be for sure keeping this upto date with progress yeh zisco top mount will get better pics of it when it arrives this week and with a tial waste gate, and yeh the car came over from ireland with the orange trd wheels, previous owner sprayed them the grey colour, i sold the wheels a while ago to some 1 on here, can you send me some pics of your kit if you dont mind?

they are 5.8 kgs each, they are used on many time attack fwd cars, i am going from the set ups they are using for grip

hehe im trying ps fish out those standard injectors i will need them very soon lol

correct but will give me gains in the corners round knockhill, im going to try it my self as i havent seen any 1 else using these wheels and tire combo

hey guys i should have made 1 of these project threads a while ago but i am a bit lazy lol anyway i bought the car quite a while ago, was a forged 4e emu, td05 16g, speedvision cams head work etc etc, long story short engine sadly was no more due to oil starvation, so got talking to chris and keith at zisco and got a 5e built to the spec i wanted, dont know of any 1 else with the spec i have so unsure on what numbers ill be hitting but we recon 400 ish @ 29 psi on race fuel , looking to do alot of track days at knockhill and hope to get down to the pod later on in the year, here is a basic spec of the engine and some progress pics: 5e block steel fly wheel ivan tighe cams custom zisco 2.75 mm exhaust custom zisco inlet with billet tb greddy td05 18g trd clutch type diff Pics of the top mount turbo kit on a rig engine not quite finished: will keep this thread updated with my progress comments and criticism welcome

i take it the wheels were a very low off set? most 8j/9j 15inch wheels have very low off sets, there are very few wheels that offer a bigger offset in these but these track wheels im going for offer a bigger offset which is perfect for putting a wider tire on, i supose it will be trial and error ill give the 225's a go and post the results here this is how the 8js with 225's fit on a civic with rolled arch

going for r88 225 tires up front to try get power down and better corner grip on track, seeing alot of track civic's in the states using 8/9 j's with 225 hence the idea i know its a big tire but its for a purpose

has any 1 fitted wheels and tires in this size? curious about rubbing and clearance, i reccon should be fine with rolling the arches ?

going if weather is fair, weather always changes if you look at it 2 or 3 days before

has any 1 got some pics of there intercooler piping using 76mm pipes fitted to the car please

are these still for sale?

thanks chris, its been a killer having the car off the road for so long but im nearly there, i cant even remember what it feels to drive lol been used to a transit van im sure it will be a big diffrence from driving the van haha
