i hv a 4efte harness which is completely destroyed by a mouse!!! so the wires are damaged and some connectors/jack are missing.
what sensors does 4efte has extra than a 4efe?? air temp, knock, boost solenoid and different connector of distributor igniter and coil.
anything else??

need a set of all good 4efte engine wiring but cant locate one here around my place.
but heres plenty of 4efe harness.
how to use the 4efe harness on 4efte???
what are the differences??
i am assuming need to rewire the ecu pinouts.......

I have a 4efte whole engine and a 5e block pistons and con rod.
I want to build a 5efe utilizing the 4efte. I knw the block and con rod height is different. And pistons r too.
Is it possible to just install the 5e block con rod and pistons?
Or i wud face any prob?
Can i use the 4efte crank with the 5e block rod and pistons?

Is this the proper way to convert our distributor to coil pack ignition system using honda d17 coils from 2003-04 civic??
i doubt it as its so easy to do!!!

Its 5e that i m converting to 4efte distributor. Doing this convertion as the old distributor dont have both the cam and crank pickups like 4eftes. And i need those pickups to wire the aem fic6 and get it started. The car dont start with aem without this.

i hv checked the connections with multi-meter.
the igniter receives BLUE & YELLOW wire from the 4 pin connector and BLACK wire from the 2 pin connector
the coil receives BLACKbrown wire form the 2 pin connector to the coil's + point
the rest wire which is RED & White from the 4 pin connector goes to some kind of sensor.

Need the internal coil distributor wiring (4 plug wires and 4+2 wire connector type)

Some one told me there is a water line in 4efte head which needs to be blocked to install it on 5e? May be i read it on 5efte thread by tgtt

My ep82 engine is 5efe. It creates high engine bay temp. But the engine temo is fully fine. Problem is my car revs 1500-1200 when cood start. When it comes to warm state the rev is fine. But if i sit idle for about 10-20 mins keeping the car on the rev falls to 500-700. If the ac is on it falls more quickly. When i open the hood i can feel the heat strongly. Cant even touch the inlet mani.
What can b the problem?
I have raised my bonnet
Made vents on front bumper bigger
Installed gt hood with turbo vent
Bypassed coolant line on throttle body
Installed ae100 double core full size radiator
Next getting
Heat wraping exhaust and inlet manifolds
Flushing radiator and change coolants
radiator cooling pannels
Icv cleaning
Any idea what shud i do else to reduce this?

My 5efe is running with 4efte inlet manofold. And as i have a 4efte extra engine i want to install its head to my 5efe.(turboing it)
What are the things i need to be care of?
And will i face any difficulties, arent they bolt on?

1.can anyone tell me the part numbers to identify a 3sgte map sensor??
2.is 3sge and 3sgte map sensor same??
3.will there be any problem is i use 3sgte map sensor instead of 4efte??

When i cold start my car and turn on the ac, it normally turns on but after few minutes the ac light goes out and dont cool.
i tried no/off the ac but dont work and the ac light dont light up!
Any guess what could be the problem??? thanks in advance!

thank you for the diagram. these thing shows some differences.
my black wire is connected to pin no 24 and the diagram shows that it should be connected to pin no 13
but both of them are earth/grounding. so should i change it??
my yellow wire is connected to pin no 7 and the diagram shows that it should be connected to pin no 8
but the pin in my ecu is blank which is no 8. what do u suggest to do??

my car is a starlet with a 5efe in it and powered by 4efe ecu with rev limit of 7200rpm.
i want to install Bee-R rev limitter. Though i hv installed it following a diagram form this forum and it works. but the problem
is,
1) it gets pass by the limit which i have set in the limiter when i full throttle it.
2)The car jerks when on the go while cutting rev.
is these normal?? and it doesnt shoot flame or fart as it should.

Any idea if this is exedy stage 1 clutch and pressure plate??
one more ques is if an oem replacement clutch disk would give the same performance with the stage 1 pressure plate??
asking cause have heard some where that they are same as oem disks.

this gearbox is currently installed in a 4efe engine.the car is ee100 with 220kpmh speedometer.
at the second pic there is a code written which is 70402604 as far as i can read. lol
Any idea what gearbox is this???

Can anyone tell me the name of the black plastic tank beside the fuel filter and how to connect it?
It looks to be a part of the fuel system and may be works as a fuel tank's blow by gas collector or something not sure.
Pls let me knw asap. Thanks in advance
