    Description: For sale is my Black '96 Glanza V which has covered 80,000 genuine miles. Previous MOT's to prove. And have a wallet full of laminated documents going back to when it was imported. This was my first car which i bought when i was an apprentice and im probably going to regret selling it. Firstly the car has been off the road for a year so has no tax or mot. It starts first time as battery is kept on trickle charge. Have to be honest and say that the bodywork is not in the best of condition but mechanically the car is fine. Reason for selling is i cant justify spending anymore cash on this. As i have company car. Spent over £1000 just in the last year since i took it off road. Ran great when it was on road and will bring a smile to your face. Just don't get cars like these nowadays.

    As said the bodywork is not in great condition. And the Alloys could benefit a refurb. Most noticeable are dent on passenger door. Small dent and chip on bonnet. Scratch on rear bumper. There is one centre cap missing from an alloy.

  2. Yea but i wouldnt want to just put forged pistons and rods into the old block with old pumps and belts. Closer to 1700 ive worked out. And thats just parts !! Thot u have to skim head and block etc. Probs gona keep saving in hope forged lump pops up. Doesnt happen often tho.

  3. Think my headgasket is blown. Been pricing things like gasket kit head bolts oil pump waterpump t/belt kit etc. Confident enough to strip down and change head gasket myself. But at the minute i only have £1000 to spend so cant stretch to forged bits. Question is am i better to spend all my cash rebuilding it with stock internals and new pumps etc. Or is it best to save that bit extra and buy a SECOND HAND forged engine ???
