Check for holes in the vacuum lines, or if a vacuum pipe disconnected by accident. As for the electric shock, I'm pretty sure that the car can not give you a jolt. Most probably static electricity from your clothes or seat covers (if fitted)....

Hi Guys. I am not a Starlet owner, but I did use the Toyota Starlet Turbo S engine as a powerplant for my off-road project car. (see profile pic) I did not receive the original dipstick when I bought the engine, and therefore I cannot tell whether I added the correct amount of oil. I have been searching the web all over, but cannot get information regarding the correct amount of oil. There is some oil coming out of the exhaust (not turbo seals) and I think I might have over-filled with oil. Can anyone tell me the correct amount of oil needed? Cheers... PS: Reading previous topi
