  2. Put a new rubber in the end of my efi and has fixed the problem to an extent, boosts to around 12 psi. Im sure it boosted to 14 before, ill have a look when its not raining
  3. Hi, just finished fitting a new oil filter housing and racetech braided oil feed. All fitted and tightened up no leaks ect. Took the car for a drive and seem to be loosing boost at 4k revs. Before i changed the oil feed it was boosting to 14ish psi and holding it now it struggles to get to 10 before dropping to 3/4 psi and making a loud whistling noise? The only thing i can think of is that the rubber in the efi pipe at the turbo end had split, i refitted using this rubber. Could this cause my problem?

  7. Hi, will be fitting a new oil filter housing to my gt turbo today due to previous owner threading the old one. Ive got a new gasket from idworkz but was just wondering how easy it is to fit and how to remove my old one. I have mechanical knowledge but like to know what im doing before i start a job Thanks

  10. If so how much do you want for it? Is it the bit the banjo bolt fastens in to?
  11. I have new washers, the previous owner must of fitted it without both washers because the inside of what i belive to be the oil filter housing? has threaded part way in. The banjo bolt will only catch the threads with 1 washer removed.. I was wondering where i can get a new oil filter housing from?

Hi ive come to fit my race tech braided oil line, and when i removed my old one the banjo bolt only had 1 washer, the bit it screws into thats bolted to the block is threaded about 3/4 the way down so i can only assume that the washer was removed so the banjo bolt could bite into the decent threads. New to starlets but have mechanical knowledge, am just wondering what i need to replace and where to get it from? Thanks
  13. Yeah going for a braided one and not driving the car till its sorted ill use a new gasket but is it ok to use my old bolt into the engine and turbo?
  14. Ok, and thanks mate been trying to get one for so long then this came along. Payed alot more than origionally budgeted but im happy and the car is amazing! Exactly what i expected and more. The sunstrip is staying though as i think it suits

Fmic Blitz nur spec Decat Aftermarket manifold Stack boost gauge at about 1bar on standard ct9 Ibiza cupra alloys Probably more but thats all i can think of.

  18. Hi ive just bought a starlet ep82 quadlight and after driving 200 miles home sprung a tiny leak from around the oil feed/return area on the standard ct9 turbo. Does anyone know what i should check and what i need to do to fix the problem? On a tight budget due to having every penny in the car to begin with lol. Found this on ebay and he says he can make the feed lines aswell and provide new banjo bolt kit for the engine side. Is it any good?
