Hi im wondering if a oem lsd will fit inside a standard box? Also will a standard clutch hold a td04 at 1 bar if its not abused?

Hi, after fitting my td04 kit removing my fcd and turning the fuel pressure back down to standard my car (ep82 gt) sometimes has to crank over a good few times before it actually fires up, then other times its fine, this happens completley at random but i have not idea what could cause it.. Can anyone shed any light on the problem?

Now its all fitted i cant really see into the housing but ill try have a look later when i change the oil and filter. Tried to video it but doesnt really pick the noise up too much. It builds and holds boost all the way through the gears and once it reaches full boost (0.5 bar) the whistling quietens off There seems to be some play in the shaft but doesnt seem to be alot, the ct9 i removed had more.

Will do, and the turbo seemed ok to me but to be honest i dont have much knowledge when it comes to the ins and outs of one other than basics like shaft play

Hi fitted my td04 kit yesterday i got from glanza sheeny, all seems well except the turbo sounds really whistley when building boost? Ive meshed the turbo because i didnt have the correct size relocation pipework.. Could it just be because of this?

Yeah i guessed it could just be the diaphragm after being run at higher pressure for a ct9 at 1 bar.. The td04 is a conpletley different animal even at 0.5 bar! Using a meshed turbo it whistles like mad when building boost though

Was told it was walbro uprated and can remember a receipt in the history for a walbro pump.. Also since removing the fcd and turning the fpr down to 2.4 bar it takes a few cranks to start after a while of being stood?
