sorry to wade in, i have used an JE proseal gasket on my forged build.i havent had any issues at 1.6bar done about 15k on it so far. for anyone that cares lol
-
forge it, doesnt have to completely break the bank if you look around for parts etc
-
thats my pals motor, hes on here but dont think he comes on often
-
the tercel with the GTT front end looks pretty good i have to say
-
If you wanted 300hp a good specced billet wheel td04 should do it
cheers guys, to be honest for the sake of changing setups for an extra 20hp im thinking to aim for mid 300's just to get it out of my system lol
-
dailied mine from standard, now forged td04. never had an issue, paddle clutches have never been an issue for me either. best and most reliable car i have owned
-
ah well, i love a straight line. tbh im keen to try a big power setup, i will probably max out whatever set up i have, ehat kind of power is to be expected from a maxxed out 20g? or vf22?
-
how laggy are we talking on a 20g? vf is also a good choice, a garret of sorts has crossed my mind too. think a gt28 might be a bit overkill
-
right, im looking to uprade from my td04 setup, currently running 281hp, want to crack 300+ have been doing a bit of research and have pretty much decided on a td05 of sorts. does anyone have any experience with a billet wheel td05 20g? anyone want to share their experiences on the subject? cheers!

bussey ffs mate you sold him some dodgy brown and he thought it was me
-
yeah black one with the jap window banner mate
-
yeah mate, marbles, was either a slingshot or a paintball gun came straight through the window like a bullet, left a clean hole. found some oem tinted rears to go in gona put them in tonight
-
haha i had the one with the jap writing, window got shattered as i was leaving
-
I know I had a similar issue but this was due to the added stress of the new cover plate causing the cylinder to pass. Once fitted with new it was spot on, gear changes were as if it was factory.
ah fair enough.
-
Unusual.
seems like a common problem with both of the said clutches. more so with the spec.
-
Chances are the clutch master/slave cylinder will have been passing, mine did the same till they were both renewed.
we both installed orc clutches without touching master or slave cylinders, not a problem to report
-
bite the bullet and go with the ORC. wont ever buy a spec again, shower of shite. also my mate had a brand new comp clutch in his starlet, kept sticking in gear and felt mega vague
im running 250ftlbs and its perfect.and orca are about 220 ftlb torque

there was a guy on instagram who bought it off the guy you originally sold it to mikey
-
forged as far as im aware, from round my way
-
had the same happen to me, and a few others i know of, waste of time and money.now using an orc309 and its great. i didnt have any noise prior to this either, stripped the splines after 900miles of running in

good reviews from me for redline. good results and also flagged any issues with the car while it was on the dyno

if you go to toyota, and just put your chassis number in, on the diagrams there is a detail for the LSD box
