  1. Finally got round to replacing the broken passenger mirror and fitting the cup holders All very easy, but I noticed the cup holders foul the dash trim. Is there supposed to be a different trim for this? Otherwise I'll whip the file out! I've also got an issue with the interior light. I've pressed in the rivots already so it now turns on and off, but doors don't always turn the light off when closed. Nothing obviously wrong with the pressure switches...
  2. Farnborough area? Anyone else?
  3. Anyone still interested? I might not have mine much longer and would be good to meet up while I'm still an owner. Having this (even a basic model) has given me an appreciation for the cars
  4. Spotted earlier this eve, going past BP/6th Form. Think it might have been Shelly? White wheels and all, looked clean considering the weather!
  5. No I was just coming back from a filming job near Brum and I was being driven in the client's car. The little red Sportif's been tucked up at home . Yours look good there, especially under the garage lights hence it was easy to spot! Yeah didn't see anyone by it so you must have been inside.
  6. I'm keen for a local meet too. I'm having meet withdrawals with my Almera off the road, and not given the Sportif an outing yet lol. WiIl be good to meet up with the local Jap crowd too. Can't make the Saturday bank holiday as I'm working, but will keep an eye out for any other meets. Ed
  7. Anyone on here? Spotted there not 20 minutes ago! Was being driven so didn't get the chance to stop and say hi.
  8. Good driving dude, good to watch. MX5 made me lol
  9. Yup it'll be you then! If you saw a shiny red sportif that was me.
  10. On the slip road heading into the mad lines of slow traffic with me because they'd closed the bridge tonight!
  11. Cheers dude. Well so far this is the furthest a 2.2 (YD22) engine has been taken. However the YD25 as fitted in the D40 Navara is basically a larger bore and stroke version of my engine with a bigger turbo. The Navara lads have been taking them to over 300hp reliably. So it's a good bet the YD22 will take that kind of power too. The stock clutch was impressivly strong holding up till now, but wear and upgrading has meant I've changed to an ACT clutch good for 410lbft. The gearbox is also the strongest FWD box Nissan made and in the US Sentra boys have been boosting their 2.5 petrol turbos to o
  12. Yeah, sure. 5dr, had side bump strips similar to my Sportif but multicoloured. Could just be someone not on the club. Definitely lowered though.
  13. Shite sorry. Nice if tapatalk was working!
  14. Manual is good. Are SR mirrors different to Sportif? If not I'll take that passenger mirror please.
  15. Wing mirrors please Are the clocks still for sale, I saw two people were interested in them already. I have an EP91 without a rev counter, so hoping I can get yours to work on mine? (sorry, noob to Starlets). Cheers, Ed
  16. Thanks for the welcomes Dan I've changed the pic with proper tags now I'm on a computer, can you see it now? Some people might be disappointed.... Under the bonnet is a 205hp / 330lbft 2.2 Turbo Diesel lump. It's the last Nissan Diesel before Renault stuck their oar in. Quite a lot done to it, it started out as 136bhp, but now has a hybrid turbo, custom uprated IC and pipes, custom exhaust, etc etc. Have a lot of plans for it over the next 2 months including a helical limited slip diff, and bigger hybrid turbo, plus a few chassis upgrades. http://s294.photobucket.com/user
  17. Thanks guys would love rims but shouldn't really! Here's the Almera http://s294.photobucket.com/user/edkeating/media/Car/Almera/IMG_7525crop.jpg.html'>
  18. Hi guys, picked myself up a lovely 1.3 EP91 last week as a run around. Enjoying driving it, so light and agile This seems in great knick and I gave it the detail treatment this weekend. Ive owned an N16 Nissan Almera since 2006 and the current project is going well. The Starlet is getting me around whilst I do a bunch of work on the Almera. Let me know if anyone's interested, before I go blurting on about a Nissan on a Toyota forum! I try and attend the usual big Jap meets like Japfest and JAE, although not been able to do Japfest this year due to work commitments. More locally you might sp
