  1. I got a Cobra Cat 1 alarm installed from Carvolution Security. He might be able to help you, his number is 07875491114 Hope that helps.
  2. Evening. Well today I arranged with Rich (Scutch0) to meet him at a service station in Bicester to swap my wheels for his. Got up early and got the car loaded up, surprising what you can get in a starlet! Just before I left: When I returned: Then half an hour later, the car looked like this: (should of tidied up before I took the pictures!) I well chuffed tbh. Thanks again Rich, I hope you're happy with the Enkei's! Comments?
  3. I am planning on getting the 98 front bumper soon. So then It should fit
  4. Where can I get that lip/splitter from mate? (IF I can get it!) I'm sure this has been asked before, but it's confusing looking for a part number as so many have asked.
  5. Fairly simple really. 2 screws holding the dial surround in. 3 screws holding the dials in. Then just squeeze hand behind dials and remove the 3 plugs of wires to the dials and the cable for the speedo. Then you have to twist and play around until you can get the dials out. Not too much trouble.
  6. I tried both and sleeves are definately better. Leds are poo. I got my blue bulb covers for ezled on ebay, delivery took 2 weeks. Get them elsewhere if you can.
  7. either www.blackcircles.com or www.camskill.co.uk They do a good range of tyres at good prices.
  8. well mine actually sits a tad ABOVE zero. Maybe my car is just a spaz.
  9. When I was a member of another forum a few years ago, with the users profile there was a car section. Within the section there was pictures and stuff and also a full spec with prices and links to where they got them from. I thought that this might be a nice addition to the site. I'll try and find a link because I'm sure I've seen other sites using the same idea. EDIT #1 ***AS I WAS CLICKING THE 'POST' BUTTON I REALISED THAT THIS SHOULD REALLY BE IN THE SUGGESTIONS SECTION*** EDIT #2 Found a link to a site: Clicky
  10. Been wondering this for a while. When I bought the car the bloke said it was an economical version of aircon. I felt like calling him a prat! Glad I didn't really!
  11. I'm interested in a black pair whoever gets them.
  12. Welcome to the club mate, Lovely motor you got there!
  13. lol http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/COOL-Motor-T-Shirt-T...1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. yeah thats the jobbies. Who did you get them from on TGTT?
  15. As above. Anyone know how I can get some? Cheers Stu
  16. Hi Guys, I need the part number for the white plastic retainer thingy that front indicator housing pushes into. Mine has broke and rattles. I'll pics if needed. Ta Stu
  17. I use Tesco Super Unleaded in mine. I have no problems. I uses it for the same reasons as you. Only thing is Tesco seem to run out of Super Unleaded and I've had to use Unleaded in the past. That was fine too. The RON is a measurement of the fuels autoignition resistance. Meaning that if the car is highly tuned, using a fuel with a lower RON number, the fuel could detonate without a spark, this is called knock, and it's not good. Sorry to ramble but I hope that helps. But to be safe use Super Unleaded or a premium fuel.
  18. It says "ENGINE START STOP", I assume it can be wired to start AND stop the engine. Can normal start button do this?
  19. Hello bud, First off, welcome to the club. I had the same problem as you. You have to get these metal brackets that screw to the side of the headunit, this then can screw in the holes in the 'hole' in the dash. You will have a gap at either below or above the stereo (whereever you decide to mount it) but to cure this you can either get hold of a toyota blanking plate, or just use a universal din sized cd holder / cup holder / anything really. Not sure where you can get the brackets from though mate (don't think there's a part number for it?!?), perhaps putting a post in the wanted section
  20. Cheers Ryno. Sorry Icarian, I mean't the alternator belt. But cheers anyway.
  21. I'm pleased with how the wheels came out. They've been off the car now about a month. I spent 3 weekends rubbing them down (removing the tar from them was a bastard!) But when I look at them now it was definitely worth it. I'm tempted to put them on the car now, but trying to wait until the D2's arrive.
