hii everyone, if i was to order a boss kit (preferably snap off) could i fit any steering wheel to it? or is there onloy certain ones that i could use? also are they easy to fit? thanks in advance

Colin, im thinking of getting a 5efte done, the engine from a toyota sera any good? are they they 5efhe? and is it just bolt the 4efte head onto the bottom end of the 5e and use the 4efte sump and the 5e flywheel?

Well I was thinking to use the 4e head as they have strong valve springs.. very hard to find the cams for the 5efhe. . But I have no idea where I can find a 5efhe bottom block.. any idea what cars they come from.. I've seen paseo and sera but they had the 5efe engine

its a JAM fcd so doesn't have a numbered setting like the HKS, but it has an adjuster inside the box under the cover. but yeh I rang the guy and he said that the springs only suit certain wastegates :|

hi everyone, i purchased a JAM FCD, FPR & external wastegate spring (0.9bar) for my glanza
I started with installing the fcd and one it was installed the car was idling like shit and for some reason I could not boost and the car was missing, I then took off the cover of fcd and noticed the adjuster on the inside had been fiddled with so I moved it clockwise and the car sounded a lot better but not as good as it did without the FCD. once I adjusted it I took the car out for a spin and boost was working again with out a problem and the car drives better and didn't sound like it was missing but when slowing down with the car in gear it judders like mad (never happened before without the FCD). I asked a couple of friends and they said that most likely its making the car run rich. I then installed the FPR without a problem and increased the fuel pressure and then changed the external wastegate spring from a 0.4bar to 0.9 bar. the new spring was not as wide as the original one but I fitted it in anyway and when I took the car for a spin it was boosting over 1 bar and was hitting fuel cut. Can anybody enlighten my situation please
external wastegate is a non branded (ebay I think) and the spring was bought of ebay from demon motorsport

what about the snap off because i want to remove my steering wheel for addditional security lol, do i need to buy the boss kit and then the snap of hub? or do they come together or what? i have no idea lol
