MattCutts replied to MattCutts's topic in Exterior Design
Thanks pal -
Is the only difference that there Is a side repeater in the n/a? I need a wing for my car quickly and toyota have discontinued the Glanza wing but still produce the uk spec, thanks.

As title, I'm after a drivers side wing mirror,, preferably 205 black however the cars getting a respray so wouldn't really matter.

Thanks mate I'll do that instead

How's this done pal? From a uk spec starlet?

That's a bargain, love these cars.

Turned out to be the front main oil seal leaking really bad once the oil was warm and slapping around the bottom pulley
-
Would this just want checking with a torque wrench? Thanks
-
Mine had a 0.9 bar cap on it, so I've put a 1.1 bar cap on and it seems to be okay so far, so fingers crossed it just that. But I haven't been driving it as hard lately so I'll keep my eye on it and see.

I checked the ICV today, it does make a little bit of noise but it's nothing compared to the other noise. The noise I'm getting sounds like a tappet but it sounds like it coming from the bottom at the timing belt side. Wonder if it could be the oil pump? I'll get a video up tomorrow when it does it.

I've put some 10w 40s in today for what it was worth and changed the filter. The noise is still there. If I take the car for a short drive the noise goes until it idles for around a minute or so. When I changed the oil I noticed the front crank seal is leaking quite badly so I'm think oil is getting onto the belt and making the noise. It's defiantly timing belt side of the engine I'm just hoping it isn't internal. Thanks everyone for replying

Around 2000 km ago I changed my engine oil and used 5w 40s fully synthetic. Now today it has started a very loud ticking noise on idle when the engine is warm. Is 5w 40s ok or should I go for something thicker?

I'll check it out tomorrow then and try a new rad cap for what it's worth. Thanks for the response mate

I was thinking head gasket myself but I was hoping not, and as it doesn't do it unless I'm driving on motorway under longer duration of boost it was making me think the heads lifting. Do you think a chemical head gasket test will show anything up even if it's not doing it driving day to day? Thanks for the response

Hi everyone, just after a little help. Whenever I drive my car and give it a little boost up the motorway over time my car shoots a lot of the coolant out of what I can only see is either the rad cap or expansion tank. Day to day driving around town it's perfect, it's just when I go on the motorway for around 30 minutes if not less. It's running at 1 bar of boost and the only thing I can think is maybe the head is lifting under long duration of boost or the turbo (being water cooled) is heating the coolant too much. Is it possible to bypass the water lines to the turbo without it affecting th

I'll be there too
