What a wanker. First of all he shouldn't have had an evo as he obviously drives like a twat, he is a show off, he had two other people in his car and was responsible for their lifes and his own. I am starting to sway toward the Teins! I am just worried as my driveway is a bugger because you come off the road then the drive slopes quite alot. Plus i have standard factory 14 alloys so it looks and is lower than it would be with 15's. Anyone got a pic of a GT with Teins on it (40mm)???? Anybody???? Answers???? DUST??????

I dont like that its corsa material! I dont even like pulsars the body styling is yukky, the GT and Glanza are far better looking.

I cant and wont be able to afford coilovers for a good while so springs will have to do me for the time being. It says in Tobys description of the whitelines thats it lowers by 40mm front and back? Who knows i'm in a dilemma someone pull me outta it plz!!!!!!!

Yes Idrees you have seen them on my car at JAE lol, i would cancel the whitelines and get the tein springs mate, have a look in my build up thread and if you look at the last pic with my ex's civic you will see how high they still are.

Wassss up fellas, i have ordered the springs with Toby. I am waiting for Whiteline springs to come into stock but i can get Tein from him just now. Should i get the Tein or just be patient and hold out for the Whitelines???

I seen castrol oil on halfords website and it looked good. It was £37 for 4 litres. It was 10w-60 racing oil. I have a starlet manual and it says thats the oil to use for older high performance cars? Quite expensive though, the thing with cheaper oils is they are usually recycled and dont provide the protection of more expensive oils. Anyone know if 4 litres is enough for an engine if it has been drained of oil?

Which type of oil is best? Should i get the 10w-60 oil or which type? Also is Castrol Magnatec good gear for these 4 EFTE engines? Also how many litres does it take to fill it up as i'm thinking of doing an oil change and wondered if 4 litres is enough?

I want one!!!!!!!!!! Will probs do that in three or four years time when i got the cash and have another car. Then i will use the starlet as a project.

in that case, you have the optional door speakers, not a common thing, either that or they're aftermarket.

plus, if they're in the doors, they may well be 13cm, not 10cm, as it would be far more realistic to go up a size due to the better support.

and no, head units are NOT sufficient to power '6x9s', you obviously just think they are because you havent experienced a quality audio system (by the way, 6x9s do not belong anywhere near even a MEDIOCRE audio system, they're the absolute bottom of the pile when it comes to car audio, literally the scum being scraped off the bottom of a shit covered wellington boot, they have no place in anything but a fucking chavved up cavalier).

I totally agree with you there mate about 6x9's being shit but they do the job and the head unit powers them sufficiently for my liking. If i had the money i would go with a good set of components and a bass box. I have the factory optional speakers then because there not aftermarket. I have found a few things on my car which no one has! Parking pole and i have door speakers (13cm) and i have original Toyota car audio speakers mounted on the rear parcel shelf!

No i do have door speakers in my car. One on each size. They may have been a factory option but i defo have them. It has a grill over them and i can see the speakers in the doors. I aint that much of an idiot that i mistake dash speakers for door speakers. I will post pics of them when i am home. I also have the spaces for the dash speakers but i dont think anything is behind them. Can everyone look i your GT and see if your doors have speakers? Mines are located at the bottom when you put all your stuff. The head unit is sufficient to power 6x9's so i am sure it can handle full range 5". And if its not good i will just amp them (,")

Alrite, can anyone tell me what size the door speakers are in a 1994 Starlet GT quadlight Turbo? I may have asked this Q before but this hotel computer is garbage and has a slow connection so a search is taking ages! Also can you tell me in CM please. I have the same problem (well i did till i threw them away lol). The way the door cards come off is really easy. You need a big bladed screw driver (be really!!!!!!! carefully other wise you do damage to the paint work). Starting at the bottom right of the door car (assuming we are doing the drivers side) pry the card away from the door. working to the left. i think you will get the idea of how this coms off once you start. The door card its self is held in by "push clips". Oh and the door handle is a case of undoing the bolt then pushing to the left(?) and out. simple....

OK maybe it was a bit pointless i admit when i have been silly. But my scheme is cut off from anywhere else. It is a closed loop and there is only one way in and one way out from the main road. And it is all speed bumps. I wouldnt do it again but everyone has done it. And Ecksjay you are a bit of a dobber pal. Maybe we cant afford what you have had the oppurtunity to drive. I'm sure i will one day as i am hard working.
