On my way to placement today i came across a saxo! We gave each other a little run up the bypass. I thought it was a quick VTR because i went past him very slowly, then i slowed down so he was in front. We then went for it again on the next stretch of bypass after the roundabout and he was in front. Kept on his bumper all the way to 4th gear maxed at 6500ish and he started pulling a few car lengths. Funny thing was we both pulled into the hospital where my placement is. He went to another car park in the hospital so i walked around and looked for it. Turned out to be a VTS. Was glad it was a VTS because if it was a VTR i would be in trouble! There slightly faster top end, but up to 80 the GT was quicker, but not by much. He also had an aftermarket exhaust. So a standard gt with standard exhaust was almost equal to a VTS with an aftermarket exhaust. If he had a factory exhaust i would have either beat him or been totally equal. Would like a go when i have my exhaust, de-cat, mani, and actuator on but (,")

Took some pics today of my car for you guys to see it lowered with alloys. Better than my last pic of it, plus my camera aint too hot on my phone. Its supposed to be a 3.2 but i have seen 2 megapixels cameras with better pics!

No one will insure you on that under £3000, you will however get insured on a GT on your parents insurance TPFT. Go for that option Cal, hope you get a GT and on the road soon mate.

My garage is sending me a new cv joint for my car, the only problem is that they say theres 3 options to choose from. Last time they fitted one to my car and they counted the spleens but it is in edinburgh and i'm in ayrshire so there just sending the part. how many spleens is on the cv joint? Is it something like 23/30 or sumthing? I know its in that format of a number slash number.

Yes it was on and i watched it but there was no skyline on there. And lewis hamilton was on it and he got a 1.44.7 secs on the track with the reasonably priced car. Was brilliant, Hammond starts off in a 2litre clio powered racing car then progresses up to a F1 was minted!

No you wont need a FCD because if u did you would need a RRFPR etc. Your actuator is your first form of boost control, if it is set at 0.8bar it will keep you under fuel cut. You may have to re-adjust the length of the actuator rod after installing the de-cat. If you buy one in january we could help each other out fitting them etc. I am buying a full s/s system, braced de-cat, and HKS actuator in january (,") Hopefully get 150bhp outta it with those mods.

It is on the drivers side i beleive because i hard it tonight. What did yours sound like when it rubbed on the inner plastic of the arch? Was it like a squeal noise?

Now that you have had more experience with the de-cat how is it now? What difference are u noticing? Better acceleration, top speed, mid pulling etc?] Asking because i'm buying one in January with a bltiz replica Zorst!

MY D2's are rubbing when i go round a corner really fast or hit a medium sized bump in the road. My mechanic says there up as high as they will go. I have 15" slipstreams and the profile of my eagle F1's are 50. I have stiffened the springs using the allen key tool but still it grinds. Also when going down the bypass its quite bumpy at some sections. Is this normal at high speeds such as 70/80mph? How do i stop this bloody rubbing?
