Get some break cleaner, spray it into the pipes. It cleans out every bit of oilJust alittle advice when I get mine back please what's the best way to get the the oil in the fmic and pipes out and anywhere else it should be sitting?
-
Turbo seals are brand new in that turbo, did you clean exhaust out? From previous turbo failure? And have you checked Pcv valve if your still running one?
it's Ok now I took off the hot pipe, revd the engine for a good 5 minutes all the old oil came out.
Thanks alot

.
Did you clean your cooler and pipes from oil? If yes, then you probably got another leaking turbo
Yeah I cleaned out the hot pipe, intercooler pipes etc with break cleaner. Was told the turbos oil seals are brand new as well so I'm not sure what the problem is

Changed the turbo but there is still some oil leak from the bov and turbo. Anyone know what could be wrong?
Thanks

Would the fmic fit a stock ct9?

Car drives fine and boosts perfect but there's oil in the intercooler and when I leave it over night, in the morning there's oil dripping down from my bonnet all over the bumper. I think my turbo is gone but how comes it still boosts fine?
Thanks

I want to up the boost on my standard turbo.
I have hks Fcd, hks actuator, FPR
What would I have to set the Fcd and fpr to If I set the actuator to 1 bar?
Thanks

Work alloys 15"

The way I interpret that it is correct probably best tp bypass the solenoid you'll remove a boost restriction too the difference is substantial
how do you bypass the solenoid?

I think one of the turbo vacuum line is in the wrong place. Looks like the previous owner done something dodgy.Set actuator to .8 or lessSet fpr to 2.4barTurn fcd to 0Fcds probably wired wrong have had it on a lad on heres car i looked at where the map sensor was kaput and wouldnt work with fcd before changed map and it was fineTake the car to a dyno get it set up properly.Last step use the correct forum section!
The turbo housing pipe is connected to the high low boost solenoid and the vacuum line from the actuator runs to the high low boost solenoid aswell. The efi vacuum nipple has been blocked of. Is this correct??
-
I'm going for td04 as soon as I get the manifold...but for now I just wanted to up the boost a lil.You got a spare few hundred quid to replace the engine and turbo ? Lol.
In all seriousness, personally i'd get it setup asap, or take the FCD off and put the fuel pressure back to standard. FCDs make the car run lean and without proper fueling it'll take no time at all to blow it up.
I'm not sure what it is mate. Im suspicious with the vacuum pipes and high low solenoid pipes aswell.and it werent fuel cut u hit, it was major detonation im thinking
-
I've set my fuel regulator pressure to 44psi and adjusted the hks actuator to 1 bar.
When I drove it the car boosted to 2 bar and hit fuel cut. Im think the vacuum pipes are fitted incorrectly. Nothing is connected to the High low boost solenoid. Can anyone help??
Still oil leak
