Its most probably scored the crank anyway... driving it like that it will end up throwing a rod out the side of the engine.

must be in good condition low mileage , needing this as my engine spun a bearing and might aswell go forged rather than rebuilding mine. thanks people!

stripped down today.... it spun bearing number 1 closest to cambelt! i need to get a second opinion on having the crank ground down as it looks ok to me but not to clued up myself.

im pretty sure its spun a bearing....... it was mapped at allen Jefferies but don't think this has nothing to do with it, the bottom end is original and on 120,000 miles! and as to what caused it I have no idea!

right lads after getting my emanage blue mapped today it was on the final run when the bottom let go and know has a faint knocking sound! was turned straight off and recovered home. basically where shale I go from here? drop the sump and see what damage is done? thanks

Dont do it mate I done this and if the buyer does not have the money in his account eventually the bank charges it back leaving you that amount of money down.... get a bank transfer or cash

Yh just pull it off and cap the end off either with a bolt in a little piece of pipe or buy the proper silicone stop ends like I did
