  1. So happy with the outcome of my new ACIS inlet manifold ! Decided this was the way to go, many changes along the way. HDF worked there magic and made my Audi DBW TB fit, faces machined flat and inlet temp sensor Thread tapped. Can’t wait to get it back and fitted.
  2. Matts amazing welding hiding behind the bumper here. cheeky mishimoto oil cooler mounted in place ready for me to fit the rest once the wiring is sorted.
  3. Started to strip back all the old unneeded wiring from the from loom, removing engine loom, emb, stock ecu ect all half out. Replaced the well known rocker cover for a polished one which has had the baffle partially cut for better breathing, AN fittings and coil pack mounts. Inlets off for something special to replace it. will try to keep some order of what I’m doing as I go but just attacking everything now.
  4. Bonnet struts fitted, nice simple install happy with them.
  5. Haha I will give the car a detail once she’s mapped up, not sure what’s next on the list I just need to attack her and fit the lot, huge parts list to go on sitting waiting just need the time.
  6. Old axle off, on with the restored Pollybushed ABS one, red oxide primer and gold hammertite top coats. rear/middle under brace also fitted with some persuasion. Slowly getting there now just awaiting a few parts and it can crack on with the interesting stuff !
  7. I spy.... little sneak preview of what’s to come, all parts need a good clean up first and paint... struggling to get time being a key worker. Few pictures to keep the thread updated
  8. Decent read 👌 cars absolutely mint keep the parts coming
  9. Just a little sneak preview of what’s to come, all parts are hear just need to find the time to clean them up and get them all on the car, I have a mountain to get through.
  10. Do you have Facebook to contact Matt Friend Sam ? If not fire a private message with your phone number
  11. Confirmation they fit !! Ofcoarse if you have ABS the lines will have to be moved. Please contact me or Matt for purchase
  12. Collected her from Matts and I’m so pleased what an amazing job him and his bro have done ! I will give updated on the ep91 fitment for the brake stopper ASAP for all those waiting. cars driving amazing, a lot more to follow real soon.
  13. I will do mike, it’s a lively turbo to say the least it’s purely focused on quick spool and quick revving. lads there will be a production run for the brake master cylinder stoppers, just finalising the design and confirmation if they will fit a ep91 chassis aswel. price will be £80 posted, I will update on completion of the product.
  14. I have spoke to Matt about a possible group buy, he’s looking into making a jig now.
  15. Again Matt Friend has smashed it with this brake master cylinder stopper ! If you have ever wondered why people fit these get your mate to jump in your starlet and pump the brake pedal and watch how much the master cylinder moves, you will be surprised. super happy with the outcome 100% perfect fitment.
  16. Appreciate the comments lads thank you. I can’t run more boost due to turbo design mate but I wouldn’t gain much more past 1.4bar due to having a ct9 exhaust housing. manifold kit is WEPR, it is a td04 kit that I have mate due to the td04 core so yes they can make it and anything else you require. 5efhe cams fitted with adjustable cam pulley. dyno day will be once more parts are fitted should be targeting may for mapping, no graph of the current map unfortunately. brakes do feel amazing they have been tested but no real heat through them yet to really
  17. Thanks mate appreciate it, hours taken to put things together, I’m not going crazy in boost pressure It won’t be over 1.4 bar for sure due to the exhaust housing. The turbo is custom built mate there are a couple “TD12 hybrids” about but I don’t think any have been built to this spec. I think the MC was off a Mitsubishi gto possibly, it’s a 1” I could probably do with going down 1 size but I’ll see how things go once she’s mapped and I can properly test her out. Bare in mind the brakes are huge and unless you have 6pots I wouldn’t bother upgrading unless you change to the largest starlet one a
  18. Some more progress done by Matt, -coil pack mounts welded on, will polish the cover up once it’s back. - exhaust gas temp sensor bung fitted. - water meth injetor bung fitted. - oil cooler mount cleaned up. Nearly ready to come back now and fit all the new parts ready for mapping ! A lot of good spec parts to follow as soon as she’s back.
  19. Thanks, It’s a ct12 comp housing with a billet td04 19T core and ct9 exhaust housing mate, going for a quick spool setup.
  20. Some more updates of Matt Friends great work, intercooler mounted properly with all pipework done, so happy with the out come ! Maximum clearance and stunning pie cuts! few more bits and bobs to do with some mods to my cage to come next, can’t wait. new samco joiners and camps also fitted.
  21. Some more progress photos of the amazing work Matt Friend is doing for me. Want everything to be perfect on this car so little details down to small brackets really make the difference. Intercooler pipework nearly finished up now, more sexy fabrication to come !
  22. Heald up good with my bro battering it at 250hp and torque to match so time will tell mines rebuilt but haven't done many miles to comment, the clutch is amazing I've reccomended it to a few friends now also I couldn't believe how good it performs, my 4 puk was heavey and very bitey but found this 6puk to be fairly normal as far as race clutches go was very impressed. Bell housing swap for most C series boxes mate.
