Welcome chap not passed my test yet so I'm kinda in the same boat as you, but as Jaimie said id fix everything first then just he the interior how you want it to be. You can get some nice cheap mods for interior out there

Think I'm gona go with the flange idea if I can find some one to cut and weld it, if I can't find anyone I'll just go with the sleeve it's not impossible and it's not really expensive

Sounds like a plan I never thought about that I'll speak to a few people where I stay and see if the could do that for me. Need a new car anyway so will need to cut it out sooner or later. Cheers though mate much appreciated

Right my plan for a straight throo! I want to cut out my cat and get a bit of exhaust pipe and clamp it in place of the cat. Then when mot day comes simple change over? Would this work and has anyone done this
