the Gt is mine...not my brothers os sisters (as i dont have any lol :angry:)or parents(they hate it)....i bought my gt last year may the 20th(exactlly 1 year before i passed my test LOL) it was £1250 and i was gonna drive that,but me being an ignorant arse hole i wanted to make it more powerful....so i did and now its around about 200bhp(need it setup) with 200 odd bhp i recon its gonna be a bit scary...so im gonna use it for sprinting and track use etc...in a few months aaron...will probs be a few weeks knowing my dad i can get insurance on it yea,not with all mods though....so

mines near 2 years old now and i think its give up the ghost?it drops off boost at high rpm and never used to,ive ran it at 1-1.2-1.3 bar for a while and ive loved it,but now i think its dying but im not sure?anyone had theirs longer? cal

WHAT A GAY!!!.....fixed the leak,went out for a drive and it aint even hitting 1.2 bar:S....econ it could be a leak still?im gonna fit my hybrid and see if i can help it.... edit heeeheee noticed my wastegate arm isnt the same as my old one so ive made the actuator arm shorter,hence why yesterday it was only boosting 0.9 bar but was 1.2 on my old turbo(wasnt boosting 1.2 as i had a leak),should hopefully be 1.2-1.3 now -
from a 90 spec rs turbo in pretty good con...they set you back £100 odd?

yarrr.....was a dirty HOOGE boost leak...boost pipe was found in another country haha.....was miles away from being connected,shocked how it held 1 bar ish boost though and died off to .6 bar,would have thought it would have no boost my ct9a is in MINT condition and i hve a hybrid on the way anyway... cheers guys -

its held 1.2 bar before man all the way....might be a boost leak as my chattr has turned gay and it has more lag that normal -
made this stage 1 now,running 1.4 bar and smokin like a good un,handles wicked....stays with plenty of more privlaged motors.... for a dirty old derv its well hehe....lost my indicator lense and broke my plastic sump guard though:(

alright guys me and ma pa took the gt out earlier for the first time in ages,1.2 bar,felt ok but the boost was dropping off at high revs,im gutted as it used to hold 1.2 bar from 2nd to 5th,is it my actuator or could i have a boost leak etc as remember my turbo has been off twice in a week....recon it could be a leak?oh and my chatter is different,its like it has a bov how and not like a high pitched chatter like it used to,doesnt chatter as much...cheers cal

this doesnt really make sense but ok,tong turbos was once run by a man called kitaro who basically sold some people dodgy turbos,its now been overtaken by geo(enzo) who sells the turbos,i havent heard of ANY problems with these turbos...if im wrong please comment infact ive bought one as we speak and should be here soon,cant wait to see what gains it produces the Gt spec hybrids are a gt17 hybrid i think,a ct12 turbo isnt much different to a ct9 and is pretty much pointless for a swap,a ct20 is going places but still not perfect and wont fit straight on as good as a hybrd,a Gt spec hybrid is

right,first off all you need is some VERY fine mesh,and a decent jubilee clip,get the mesh and sit it over your inlet,then use the jubilee to do it up,do it up tight as it might get sucked in lol....the noise will be immense an it will make it feel so much better....trust me on that one dont worry about the scary myths....load of cosh...lol

lol the link aint workin?are you guys on about that blue mk1 gt?if so it was my mate andys,was pretty clean and had advans on it once,he sold it for £1900 to a asian dude from sheffield,he wanted £4k for it and now he wants £1600.... its ok i spose,the front bumper was ripped off and has been respayed though

done it all day...screwed it out and upped the boost to 20psi,smokes like a mofo ounder load and on boost,piss some people right off...it goes very well...pulls all the way to 5k and holds the boost in all gears,puts you well back in your seat for a dt...and handles great,and VERY comfy,like a big blue turbo diesel sofa.... its immense
