  3. So I bought my first Glanza a few months ago off a user on here. I must say it is such a fun car to drive!

    Depo boost gauge

    TRD shocks and springs

Ultra Racing front and rear strut bracing

    Whiteline panhard rod

    H&R 20mm spacers

Idworkz drilled and grooved rear discs

    HKS air filer

    Speedvision actuator

Custom stainless steel exhaust (cat back)

JPerformance FMIC with short route piping

    Polished race spec rocker

    Air con removed

    EBC pads

    Wolfrace wheels

    1 Recaro seat

    OEM Toyota wind deflectors

    ID Workz HRF Spats

Some new wheels are definitely in need not keen on the wolfrace ones at all.

I have already bought some fixed Corbeau bucket seats to put in.

I had always planned to get the engine forged when I bought the car and didn't think I was going to get a bigger turbo anytime soon so I bought a JPerformance CT9 manifold to spruce up the ole engine bay however before I had time to put the new manifold in I decided to go ahead with a bigger turbo so as it sits my Glanza is now in Tuning Developments getting a stage 2 forge and a TD04 Hybrid mapped to 300BHP :D

Here's a few photos' on the way to Tuning Developments :)

If I get any updates on the progress I will be sure to post them on here!

I saw some very nice Glanza's there when I was dropping mine off think most of them are on here :)

    So now the wait begins..

    Thanks for looking,

    Sam

  4. As far as I am aware they don't make starlet specific rails/brackets. according to the oz starlet club, the rails from a late paseo are the same as the glanza, and they defo do paseo brackets.

I spoke directly to corbeau about the rails listed in their product list as for use in the "Toyota Starlet" and the measurements are waaaay off so its defo not an ep91 it fits. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, i will have a look at the paseo rails otherwise i might just get some custom ones fabricated. Cheers!

  5. Hey,

So at the end of the month I'm looking to buy a Starlet Glanza i want it in white however if there are no nice white ones i might be interested in a black one.

I don't really want to spend over 3k.

I'm based in London and sometimes Wales.

Has to be in good condition and run well.

If you could email me (silkewolf@btinternet.com) if you have the above for sale id be very thankful.

    Cheers,

    Sam

  6. For the money it would cost you and the time it would take to source parts. Probably better to chuck a bigger d series or go balls out and get b series they both can take alot more power and parts are much easier to find

I have looked at putting a b18 in, it will require a lot of custom fabrication but maybe I should just go for that instead Im undecided

  7. Hi all,

So im not a Starlet owner (Unfortunately), I have a 1.4 Honda Jazz and have been looking at putting a turbo in it.

I don't have a great knowledge of turbo's so please excuse any inaccurate information..

Turbo'ing a standard 1.4 i-DSI Jazz engine to my knowledge has not been done before so I am going to have my work cut out for me. I was thinking of getting either a CT9 or a GT25 Turbo and running it on stock internals for the time being at about 130-140bhp and then eventually sourcing some forged internals and running it at around 200bhp.

I would like some advice which would be a better turbo?

Also what will I need for the turbo conversion (manifold, intercooler, etc.) and around about how much is it going to cost me?

    Any advice is much appreciated!

    Thanks.

    Sam
