  1. Hi nick, we only make oil lines to suit our non stock location ct9 manifold kits (power up kit, ct9 ram kit, top mount ct9 ram kit)....so if you bought one of these oil lines and tried to fit it a stock manifold set up or any other manufacturer ct9 manifold kit...it will not fit or line up. if you are fitting it to one of our kits..you just need to rotate the center section of the housing. oil lines are kit specific. ex: power up kit oil line cannot be fitted on to ram kit and vice/versa.

the turbo flange does not sit parallel to the floor on the stock cast manifold...if you just look at a oem manifold..you can see this. except on our power up kit manifold (turbo is still angled, but angle is different to stock)...the turbo flange sits parallel to the floor..hence the center cartrdige also has to be rotated a little to compensate. hardly a big job or anything to be worried about..you need to clock the compressor housing anyhow to point down (for fmic piping)...can be done at the same time.

also note...we make the kit to suit the stock rubber oil return elbow. so if using a silicone bend at the sump..it has to be trimmed down to the same size as the oem one..if not it may not fit that well.

Hi Sacha, I didn't realise they were all kit specific! I run a ramhorn manifold that I think is made my RW-Developments, and like I said, it wasn't massively out, on by 2mm. Which I thought was pretty good considering the feed is from you guys & the manifold is from a different manufacturer.

  2. So I'm halfway through fitting my wepr ram horn kit, and it seems like nothing lines up

The oil return and feed don't line up, the lambda hits the rad, it doesn't match up to the rest of the exhaust system, has anyone else had these problems?

Haven't even tried fitting the screamer yet but I bet that'll be wrong too

Had to force the mani on to get the oil feed here, that's how out it all is

I recently got a WEPR CT9 Oil Feed Return off JDM-EP, which was practically brand new.

The pressurised side of the feed didn't line up correctly with the banjo bolt, had to rework the lines to adjust it slightly, but it was massively out, only by 2mm... Still think the stuff they make is shit hot tbh, just bizzare to have seen this post dude! Hope all gets resolved soon!

Also decided to start changing the manifold, got the bugger off (and it was fucked)

Something caught my eye whilst looking down the turbo...

  5. Really need to catch up on this so while I've got a moment today at work & on my dinner break, expect many spam posts as i try & catch up on progress!

Firstly, I settled on some new tyres, I decided to try out the Maxxis Maz3's, they were amazing tyres on my bud's mx5, and on his fiesta, so I've decided to give them a try, see how they handle at 200bhp, a review will follow! Many parts have being bought since, and I'm currently in the process of trying to fit it on weekends and after work seen as we have a bit of day light back now!

I never knew trisks GT used to belong to you mate.

  9. My thoughts exactly

It means I didn't do it for a living, but I spent all my spare time outside of work, training & racing.

Think what you like, I'd like to know why you keep cropping up all over threads I put up with negative comments.

  10. made the back cover of a golf mag for wearing a silly hat at a golf event here in N.Ireland (nothing was said about my playing mind you!)

also regularly made the evening news as a teenager getting off the bus from school (it was how our local news broadcasters liked to start their news pieces about George Best who happened to be living next door)

thankfully anything i've done that would actually be newsworthy has never materialized into a 'captured on camera' moment Lol

Im guessing you either were wonderfully awesome at something that made the news or you made it big in a metal/emo/other band at some stage Akers?? spill the beans?? :D:D

    Phil

Hahaha, I bet you've being in the news for the wrong reasons Phil!:') Crimewatch more like ;-)

Hahaha nah mate, I wish I was in a band, would be so cool!

My 5 minutes of fame lasted only a year for me, i was once a semi professional downhill mountain biker! Abbreviated to a daft c*nt :D

Quit due to unforeseen circumstances, I also had a really really bad crash in 2013, once I recovered 8 months later, It was physically stopping me from riding at the pace I was, the level of fitness etc. Which was just the start of everything for me. When I start up my own company, vlogs etc, I'm sure the full extent will be spilled one day!

I just want to hear about everyonelse, enough of my bollocks!

  11. Right then boys & girls,

We all have our odd 5 minutes of fame thread, whether it be car related or not, everyone has hit the Internet, mags & news at somepoint in their life!

So let's see what you've all got!

Something a little different from the usual I guess :)

  12. Yeah get a fukin spiders web on you face and your eyes blacked out too! 100% more employable, honest. And wow lots of people are signing it.

Do we really have to do this?

First rule of the Internet, don't like something you see? Don't comment. The vast majority of the public have some form of bodily modification, whether it be a piercing, or a few words, right through to being physically covered. Just because someone has tattoo's doesn't affect their ability to perform well in a job, I can understand from a point of view that you wouldn't want customers dealing with someone who has thug tattooed across their forehead, but there are limitating factors in our society that need ironing out. It might be someone's choice, therefore "it's their own fault" but it's still a form of discrimination, hence why comments like that really fucking wind me up. Heck I'm covered in spiders webs, does that automatically make me a thug? No.
