This thread is ridiculous. That said, I payed glanza ben for an intercooler among other things on the 2nd of April. All of the parts have been sent separately which I agreed to because it worked out cheaper and his price was very reasonable. However, I didn't expect to still be waiting well over 3 months for delivery. I'm not doubting the fact that the kit is on its way as everything else has arrived but I haven't had much in the way of reassurance lately. Just want my kit so I can put my car together...

I welded the sills on a mates fiesta and didn't lift the carpets.. set the whole interior on fire haha
Put a head gasket on upside down on a 106 gti, blocked an oil gallery and snapped the cams in half haha must admit I wasn't laughing at the time haha

Welcome haggis! I'm based in Huntly so not far away at all, hopefully see you about sometime

I fitted an ep82 engine to my glanza not knowing about the thermostat housing. It was idling high so I got a new temp sensor (for ecu) and temp sender for the gauge. This brought the idle down a bit but it's still up at 1400rpm!? Do I need to get a housing, sensors and plugs for an ep91 in order to fix my idle problem?

A few years back I got my hands on two Glanza's. One non runner and another with a seized engine. Making a good one from the two.
This is the one I decided to break, It had been painted 8 times according to the V5, had alot more miles and as much as I liked the yellow I still prefered silver one.
The yellow one came with a set of Ray's I got powder coated in white. Also have a set of Rota Grids which I got done in Dark anthracite.
Managed to get the majority of the parts off before selling this on as a rolling shell. Including Blitz dump valve, TRD strut brace, TRD carbon dial surround and door cards, brand new radiator and a few other bits and peices.
When my mate owned this one I stuck an engine in for him. It had only covered around 40k so I will be using that in the silver one.
Now that I had everything I needed I got cracking with the other one.
Few dings and marks here and there but generally in good condition.
Getting the engine swapped.
Regret not taking the time to clean the bay while I had the engine out.
Sat pretty high without the engine haha
This one had new Gaz shocks and Tein springs, will get round to coilovers when I have the money.
The yellow one came with a Toyosports manifold which has been strengthened in the hope that it lasts until I get a new turbo set up. Replaced all gaskets with genuine Toyota.
New gaskets
Spent some time polishing the inlet.
Got an Apexi intake, relocation kit, Wahlbro fuel pump, sard fpr, cusco rear strut brace, D1 nuts, groved rear discs, pads, rear bearings, handbrake cables, calliper rebuild kits. The Fuel cut defender is just temp until i can afford proper management.
Restoring the headlights, fitting inlet and painted rocker
Fit a sandwich plate for my oil pressure and temperature gauges
Used the front mount from the donor car
Wheels and studs on. Need a set of centre caps.
Next on the list is probably an ABS delete kit and throw on a timing belt kit. Got a clear timing cover from Browner waiting to go on also.
Engine bay is an absolute disgrace so going to spend a bit of time trying to sort it out. The glanza stickers were ruined so I stuck on a carbon pair instead.
Gave the callipers a blast and a coat of blue.
Timing belt kit, water pump and ABS delete kit arrived.
Pulled out the ABS when I was doing the belt and water pump, freed up so much room.
Delighted with how the body work came up with a T-CUT so decided to take on the rest of the bay
ABS kit from tuning developments was an absolute treat!
Filthy...
Cleaning up the firewall, looking alot nicer already
Getting everything back together
Some more parts have arrived and gearbox is away being rebuilt.
Got magnecor leads, new plugs, cap, points and roose hoses. Sticking to the blue theme
Cleaned up the arches ready for an undercoat
All undersealed in black
D2 Coilovers fitted.
Finally got it running again and sorted my idle problem. Flushed the engine and cooling system before topping it up with new fluids
Greddy Profec Boost controller and boost gauge fitted, along with my OMP steering wheel.

Hi guys, Im sure you will all be sick of hearing about high idle problems but running out of ideas and could use some help.
Car is idling at around 1800rpm whether its starting from cold or has had time to heat up. First thoughts were vacuum leak so i heres what i have done so far: Fitted another inlet manifold i had polished previously, fitted new manifold and throttle body gasket, checked all vacuum lines and replaced a few that i wasn't 100% happy with. Got a pals car down and tried on his MAP, ICV and throttle position sensor. Still no change. Tried adjusting the idle control screw which brought the revs down slightly but theres obviously still an underlying problem.
I am pretty confident its not a vac leak so thought the car may be on a cold start setting permanently? Coolant level is fine and cooling system is bled. Fitted a new temperature sensor. My temperature gauge isn't working, i earthed the wire to the sensor and the gauge went off the scale so would i be right in saying the temp sender to the gauge is goosed? Would this affect the idle?
Any feedback would be appreciated, need to get this sorted before i chuck on a timing belt kit etc.
Cheers, Jez

Think I was £126 delivered, came today. Kit includes pressure regulator, mounting bracket, braided hose and hose clips, adaptors, gauge and instructions (in japanese) lol Having trouble getting pics uploaded for some reason.. :/ Sorry bud, I have set my profile pic to what i got in the kit, hopefully you can make it out alright!

Does the SARD come with all the fuel line's and fittings and where did you get it from I might just settle for a plug n play and go from there as they run off the stock fpr alot less hassle but I will see.
I ordered mine from Racetech, if you give him a call he can sort you out with a complete fitting kit (including gauge and braided line) for a decent price. Mine was delivered today so will let you know what was included in the kit when i get home

I had the same problem with a cheap regulator that came with my car dude. Could adjust it to either end of the scale and needle didn't budge haha Smoking, idle was all over the place so i did away with it and the problem is solved. Got a SARD on the way, cant wait to get it up and running!

Nope, a friend of his kindly gave me his phone number but still not been able to get in touch with him. Seriously doubt I will ever see the kit or any kind of reimbursement. Spot on.
