When does everyone starting hitting boost? Took the car out earlier, not getting full boost till 4k rpm.. Would that mean my actuator is fucked?

I have an hks adjustable actuator, been told i need a t piece to run the hi/lo boost in the car, why would it not run off using the pipes connected to the solonoid?

Thanks for the advice mate, whats the recommended boost pressure though? I want a decent bit of power.. But with fuel cut etc still on my car..

Purchased 2 defi gauges and an advance controller.. Highly recommended
