  1. Looking at the unit tomorrow after work. I am very excited. Nice 2 car unit. plenty of room to restore the car and have a nice little work bench.

On another note some of the parts I have collected have come and since I lasted spoke about parts I have found some epic stuff.

I got some brand new march rubber floor matts, brand new oem plastic wind deflectors and oem metal wind deflectors.

I got the following coming from japan.

The march turbo, super turbo and R had an insane options list. mainly performance parts made my nismo. I have managed to bag one of the rarest options going. The optional nismo roll cage. Its only a little half cafe which allows you to have a full interior but its just so cool that a cage was an optional extra.

Managed to get myself a nismo strut brace as well

  2. Haha im clearing some of mine out as i got too many.

Will be good to see the retoration come along, always been a sucker for retro jap motors :D

Same here I love them. Reason why its taken priority over the daihatsu. Just waiting on the import costs for the cage at the moment which I am not looking foward to.

Also pretty sure I will be buying a camera and doing vlogs of the build. Just something I have always wanted to do.

  3. Going to be a long few months. Trying to source as many brand new parts as possible. So far within uk as its cheapest but UK dealers are useless as they throw most of it away. So far I have headlights, side repeaters, windscreen seal, wishbones, front wheel bearings, rear hub with bearings, rear drums with shows and pulsar caliper rebuild kit.

I have found this amazing website which is linked with dealers in japan. Means I can get every last part for the March even down to the original warning/info stickers. Heres what I plan to buy. window seals, weather strips inside and out, roof strips with caps, rear window seal, march spec rear lights, march spec side repeaters, march turbo mid spoiler, original march turbo decals/labels, front indicators and any other little bits I got missing. Here is the website. They do gt turbo and glanza parts as well. https://www.epcdata.ru/

Also got new wheels! 4x114.3 so I plan to redrill the rear drums/hubs and use adapters on the front. Already managed to source brand new metal centre cap labels.

Also here is a picture of the car back when it was in Bulgaria. Before it had the worlds worst respray.

Here is what the stripe on the side of the car looks like. So chuffed that I can still get it new.

Also picked up two very rare sets of optional extra wind deflectors. first set are stainless steel which I already got, these are very early ones. Second set are the later ones but still march turbo era and were an option. They are plastic and cover the whole window like a normal wind deflector. These are currently awaiting import.

  4. Good man any photos?

Only pictures I got mate. Was quite dark when I finished. Was hoping to get more done. I know the wiring loom in Micra K10s are simple and not much to them but I still wanted to take the time and label any wire that I might question where it goes.

    More pictures required.....

I used to own a K11 with a SR20DE whilst i was at uni haha. I know how much fun they are.

presume you were part of the MSC at one stage?

  5. This year the car is going sleeper mode until I got the funds for the respray.

    This years target is

Polo steel wheels 5.5j with 185/60/13 nankang ns2r.

Nistune ecu and mapped, hoping for 150bhp.

    Fit an LSD

    Fit decent suspension (maybe coilovers)

    Poly bush

    Bigger brakes

Fit a charge cooler and maybe meth injection

    Updated clutch

    Uprated fuel pump

Should leave me with a standard looking micra but with hopefully at least 150bhp.

  6. Yes love the stock Micras was my first car to drive so i am sure the turbo engine is in a class off its own. love this build as it is different

the engine is only 86bhp stock but a guy from Finland has been running 180bhp for years now with no issues. With the bigger turbo the car has should be good for atleast 140 once i get it mapped with nistune.

  7. well if you puting the turbo engine in first you have to spray the engine bay before that as the engine bay diffent colour to the rest off the car will look poo

Just going to enjoy the car being turboed for this year. Then next winter the whole shell will get stripped again. These micras are so easy to work on. Dont even need an engine crane to take out the engines. One man can lift them.

  8. Thats the best thing you can ever have done best off luck with it.

cheers mate. the shell is really clean. Car drives so nice as well. Defiantly tell it has had an easy life. Most annoying thing is the sunroof on the car isnt even OEM so its leaking and cant get a replacement so I am just going to weld it up. Bonus is this means there is no drainage ducts to the sills which is why they are not rotted out.

No idea on the colour yet but the plan is to get the car running right and at good power. Then its going to be stripped to a bare shell, complete shell respray and then I can colour code the march turbo body panels. Most likely going white.

  9. got two weeks off soon so I plan to get the turbo engine in, gearbox, whole wiring loom, fuel tank and dashboard. Also need to fit the fuel return line. Should be possible in two weeks. going to keep all the body standard looking until i get all the engine running right and mapped. will be a proper little sleeper for awhile.

  10. go with that so pal and just respray to what ever colour you like

Found some pictures of a red march turbo in ireland. rarest colour. most common was white, then the two tone white/blue and lastly was red/black.

Starting to like the red. plus its the easiest option. paintwork on the donor car is great. all i will have to do is paint the bodykit black and get the bootlid sprayed red
