Has anyone ever used any taiho bearings? For the bottom end, I have been looking at some for my forged engine, by all sounds they supply bearings for Toyota in Japan, so there classed as oem quality, Is this true? Has anyone ever run any etc? Cheers

Long story short, got a missfire, white smoking bad and seems to be flooding cyl 2 especially, thought it was fuel at 1St but took radiator cap off and it's throwing water all over in radiator and used loads, Definatly not plugs leads b dizzy etc and leaking water and got a air lock as it's just started doing it randomly and I've changed all rest, only thing it can be is head gasket, Just wanted to make sure 100% that it's gasket by trying the oe one, and then if it's still doing it I can buy other things along with a steel gasket, how thick are standard ones to make much difference with it been 1.4 mm?

Boost is set at 1.4 bar but can lower down to 1.1 if Its close to too much pressure at 1.4

Hello ladies and gents. I've got a forged glanza running 305 hp, I seem to be having head gasket problems, Basically in short, I have a 1.4 mm Athena gasket and before I pay out for a new one I was wondering if I could put a gen Toyota standard head gasket on and run for a few months. To be 100% head gasket is at fault and to help me save up, it's just I've got a new gasket that came in the full engine set so it won't cost me any money to try it. Just need to no if It will run properly and do the job for a small amount of time and miles. Any help would be Greatfull. Wossner pistons and Scat rods. 5 mm over sized. Standard spec head and cams Arp main and head bolts Acl bearings Etc Cheers!

Is the ultimate plug and play harness different on ep91 and 82? For example I have a 91 and if I bought a set up off a 82 will it plug in and work same?

Is the emanage blue and ultimate plug and play wiring harness the same?? I have blue at the moment can I just buy a Ecu unit and use the blue wiring?? Mans has anyone heard anything about the emanage gold? What's it like?

I need an Ecu standalone or a emanage ultimate. Anything considered for the right money, It's for a ep91.

Anyone find out problem with this? Mines just started rattling? So it can't be the inlet can can it? Are these engines bad for cams wearing or tappets etc?

Sound lads Al have a look tomorrow, they bad for tappets sticking etc? Or cams warping, because car has been sound and only just started doing this noise

Are there any common fault with the 4efte engine with a top end rattle? Revs up and sounds like there's marbles in rocker cover??

Is there an unrated throttle body I can get fitted to my glanza with a different throttle position sensor? Like a common upgrade? I'm having issues with my Tps litterally been an on/off switch and it's so annoying when your crusinin on light throttle and it just shuts off and nearly throws u through window haha then put slight revs back on n throw u back in seat haha And help appreciated

It actually works to your advantage the lag! Because if u want good fuel economy you can drive steady with hardly any boost and still drive normal speeds

I get full boost of 1.4 bar at 4700, and it's the 2860rs it is laggy, you just need to know how to use ya gears! Haha, but pulls very well and hard right round to 7800, love it atm

Has someone got a tutorial on how to fit this timer and how to set it up? I've just dropped on a second hand one out of an Impreza so how do I make it fit into the glanza? Cheere

Glanza wants to stall all time like tick over is too low! For an example I was slowing down to a roundabout from 3rd and dipped clutch, once revs dropped to tickover they went top low, looks like on dials to be below 500 and cut out, then once u bump it or turn over on key it fires back up, but wants to tick over very low! This is only once warm it's mint when cold and chokes on, Can u turn tick over up? Or anything to do with Tps? Cheers guys!

Could the throttle position sensor, if faulty and giving off wrong readings to ecu, cut of the injectors?

Would it run with throttle position unplugged? Got a problem with dizzy but think this is a different problem, just doesn't feel smooth, you have to positive with throttle and can't tickle it haha

I've put an gt sensor on my glanza, n when I'm on low revs and lightly accelerating and backing off, it's eithrr on or off revs it kind of judders feels like your pressing and on and off switch haha. As daft as it sounds,, could ths be because it's not the right one ?

Are the ep82 and 91 the same?
