  1. Hi what size should i port it to and will a dremel do the job if so whats the best bit to use as cant fined many bits that will be man enough for cast iron thanks
  2. Hi after finaly sorting the clutch i have a new problem I've done a rebuild so had it in bits the starter was fine before but now its grinding like its not lined up but the gear box is on the dowles so just thought id see if anyone else has had this or if I've missed something thanks
  3. Hi i have already looked down the hole mate the bearing is in the correct position the play in the fork is just where the bearing pulls away from the pressure plate . Im starting to think its a slave problem as when i push the slave cylinder all the way in and get a mate to push the clutch it comes out but when i let it sit against the clutch fork at rest and get a mate to push the clutch it moves about 2mm witch made me think that the fork was to far away but im now thinking the slave should be coming out more than it is whats your views on this also looked at pics of other slave cylinders o
  4. Hi yes there is play in the clutch fork but its not bent and no i didnt replace the release bearing . Thanks
  5. Hi yes tryed it the other way and it hit the flywheel bolts so it could only go in 1 way cheers

Hi cut a long story short I've fitting a new clutch friction and pressure plate connected slave cylinder up and the clutch pedal has nothing there just hits the floor but comes back up there is no resistance atal untill the last inch i havent bothered bleeding it as i havnt disconnected any clutch lines . Am i being stupid or missing something simple thanks

Hi i have just fitted a clutch and pressure plate from a breaker put it all together but when i push the clutch pedal there is no resistance i tryed bleeding with no luck but noticed play in the fork and the slave cylinder seems like its all the way out when i push it in and get a mate to push the clutch it comes out so i dont think the slave is at fault can anyone shed some light on this before i take the gear box back off thanks

  11. Just phoned toyota there saying there are 3 different types mk1 mk2 mk3 and i need the numbers stamped on block and con rod how come they say that but acl and all aftermarket companys just do one size . Very confusing lol

  18. Hi what bhp can i expect on a standard ct9 whats a safe boost pressure and will i need fuel pump and fpr or will it be ok with standard fpr thanks

    Ok thanks so would i need to take my whole engine down to them so they can measure the con rods aswell. Might just get a 4efe crank and acl standard size shells sounds easyer lol . Thanks
  20. Hi if i was to get my crank reground would the engineer supply the new oversized shells to go with it or do i have to sorce them separately to the engineers spec thanks

  23. Thanks for the help. So if its just bottom end rebuild how much am i looking at for that as i think the head is ok . Just a ruff idea so i no im not being ripped off thanks
  24. Hi just wondering what i will be looking to pay if in was to take my engine for a rebuild at a garage its spun a shell and needs crank regrinding but people are saying best to get a full rebuild the engine is allready out of the car and ill be fitting it to save on labour costs thanks
