  1. Just done a DVLA check on this and it's not been taxed since July, anyone know whats happened to it?.
  2. Now sold and gone to a good home.
  3. Cheers. It's as nice as it looks to be honest but i don't really know what it's worth, I'll be happy with somewhere close to the asking price. I'll probably put it on eBay tomorrow and see what happens.
  4. Due to a change of circumstances, Mrs T is having a baby so she's got my Focus and I've bought a old Ford Sierra the mighty Starlet needs to find a new home, I won't lie, It's been a brilliant car and done my wife well, she's gutted that I'm selling it!. So it's a 3 lady owner SR, just turned 80000 miles, has lots of history, everything works as it should. It's got 5x alloys with excellent tyres, the 2 front ones are Uniroyal's that are only a few months old (the original centre caps are in the boot). It's been fully serviced and it had a new windscreen for it's MOT in June. Faults, well it's TTE rear box is long gone like many of them, the O/S/R quarter has been keyed at some point and into the door, some colour magic polish hides the worse of it, it has a couple of dents you'd expect a 17 year old car to have and i have painted the bonnet with a aerosol can due to a dent, it's not bad but it is a little strippy/patchy. All in all it's a very good original example that with a little love could be a excellent example. I'm not sure what it's worth, hopefully £995 ono is about right?. I'm in Ipswich, Suffolk. P.M me for contact details. 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR by Triggers Retro Road Tests, on Flickr 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR 1998 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v SR
  5. This is the newest photo I've got, I'll try and get some more.
  6. What are these worth? I'm looking at selling this on in the next week or so as I've bought a Sierra. It's in great condition other than a few small dents and the bonnet is a bit patchy still! 79000 miles, nearly new tyres all round, new windscreen for the mot a few months back yadda yadda. To be honest it's been absolutely faultless in the time we've had it and it needs for nothing, the wife loves it but she's having a baby soon so it will be too small for us, she's having the Focus and I've got this Sierra to use instead so it's surplus to requirements.
  7. Aye, I done mine a few days ago, flat back the primer with some 600 grit wet and dry and give it about a hour after applying the base coat before lacquering. Then after 24 hours flat the faces back with some 1200 grit wet and dry and finish with a good polish, should see them looking dandy.
  8. No they are just plain, flat stickers.
  9. I wouldn't bother wasting your money on those Speedline badges, they are cheap crap, mines turned up and they are just stickers.
  10. I got them from here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251949927370?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  11. I does seem strange that they didn't fit the 1.6 16v lump in the sporter model or even fit a slightly more desirable interior, I guess it was to keep the insurance down and encourage the first time driver to buy them maybe?. As for this one, I've still got it, it must have done about 2000 miles in it now, not a lot of miles i know but it's been faultless and drives really nicely for a cheap, little Jap car, Yesterday i spent £83 on a pair of Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres for it from http://www.tyreleader.co.uk as they worked out the cheapest. The mot is due next month and one front tyre is close to bald with a slow puncture and the other is cracking so it would be daft not too, As the tyres got to come off anyway then I'm also going to refurbish the alloys, I've ordered a set of new Speedline badges for them and I'll probably go Anthracite in colour as that suits the black. I'm well snazzy.
