  1. Didn't fancy tackling that as there's a big difference from top to bottom on the lip but reckon it's the only way. Anyway I'll throw up a few pics tomorrow after work and see from there. Thanks again man 👍🏻

  2. It was hanging off it sort of but dopey balls here stuck it on and didn't notice till I had it bonded on so it stuck now lol. Is there a difference with 98 and 96 fitment ? I tried it on my 96 and seemed to be OK was tight putting it on that's why I just stuck it to the one it came on

  3. Picked up a rear lip and bumper and the lip is sticking past the bumper about a 1/4 inch each side that meant to be ? 😕 Or a copy lip with bad fitment any pics would be useful can't find any am looking on the Google

    Thanks

  4. If I was you pat I would use bullet connectors so you can disconnect it and plug the loom wires back together that's the way am doing my EMB so male connector on EMB loom and whatever female to male on loom to match so it can be plugged in as I'd say you have to cut some wires to intercept the signal to ECU to run through dastek. Hope that makes sense

This is the connectors am using

    Cheers for the replies guys

  6. Pete_a is yours in Gt or Glanza ? Just asking because if they still in original car it must be something on the adjuster then 🤔 So could be common enough wait and see if anymore replies could get it sussed 😀😀 or tear it apart and have a gander lol

  7. So got these fitted today no cutting or that just drilled two holes for the pins to fit in taught it was handier than cutting them off but the drivers seat only locks back in position when it's about 3 clicks back from been straight and is a bit to far back for my liking is there a known problem with the adjuster on them ? Thanks for any help

  8. Have you got any advice for sorting the crack along the top out? Mines the same and I'm not sure how I'll go about repairing it haha

The way I went about it was clamping it together and stuffing fibreglass inside the lip and mould it inside the upper curve where the crack is to strengthen it up again and fibreglass fillers on outside sand it down when dry takes about half hour to harden depending how you mix it then ordinary fillers sand smooth , primer then stopper any wee holes primer again sand. It's honestly not that hard just fiddly getting the fibreglass inside and moulded use a good bit of resin give it some more strength. Hope that makes sense 👍🏻
