Thought it was finally time for an update seeing as progress is starting to begin again. The car has been parked in the workshop since march of this year. Firstly this is why it has been parked up for so long. The car was limited to 4500rpm at the time so still to this day its a mystery as to why it let go in such a big way, either a huge overboost or hydraulic'd on its fuel. I agree with that. And also agree with FTM, drove down to London and back last week and N.W Scotland and back a few days ago, both trips had to deal with so many sodding idiots! - reps in the outside lane seem the worse mid week.

Missed this thread somehow. Was totally dreading last thurs, had a bad feeling about my results this time, my exams just didnt go as well as had hoped. Saying that competing in a Hillclimb mid exams didnt help! Anyway wasnt as bad as expected. A in Business Studies B in Economics C in Geography. So off to Lancaster Uni in October to do Business Studies. Quite excited!

Spent years working chap, and spending very little lol. Also helps as my old boy is in the trade so parts are cheap and I do all my own work so save on labour costs!

Great pictures. Looks like an awesome day. Would love to know if another day is being organised. Get up the west cost and highlands quite abit , some amazing roads. If you could let me know the route you went on , wouldnt mind knowing.

Indeed , just turned 18. Basically years of work means i can afford to do it, although money is starting to run out fast, esp with my Golf costing me more to run than expected. Def will keep the thread updated , and yer I've been heavily into cars and esp the jap side of things since a young age. Appreciate all the kind words :angry:

Wont have been mine chap, has been pretty much sat in the workshop since i got her. And yes 16x8 on the front 15x7 on the rear.
