  1. Yep, I had this issue also. It's just something we'll have to put up with I'm afraid; not even Toyota do the correct HB3 bulb any longer!

What a bummer what's the best chance I have got at getting the correct bulbs then any idea?

  2. I had a similar problem with mine when I first got it turned out who ever fitted them had tighter the bottom spring retainers up really tight towards the top mount giving my spring n damper practically no movement what so ever. So a days tinkering and set them all up properly gave them a much better feel and it also drastically reduced the amount of understeer I was getting. Before hitting roundabouts at 30-40mph was near on impossible.

  3. HB3 are main beam mate

That's what I thought but it seems the tags on both sides are to large and the top one into small I tried trimming the HB3 bulbs down but they still don't sit in the holder correctly.

  4. There just normal 501 side lights mate , can get them for any car spares place

Dude I feel really really stupid now i was supposed to say main beam but clearly it was a little bit late for me sorry

  5. So today's been fun I thought I'd get rid of these rancid green wheels on my car the only thing is some nutter has used ally wheel nuts and wacked them up with an air gun. So on trying to undo them. This happened.

  6. Thanks buddy that's a great help. So I've got two plugs that are not connected to the thermostat housing one is a small square plug with a single wire this has no place to connect as I'm running n/a I have the sensor with the two vacuum fittings on it wich is also not in use. And another single wired plug wich is more of the common shape. Wich has no cable connected to it as all but has a place to go wich I presume is my issue? 5397463A-0985-4CC1-9522-66B2EA0BA52B_zps

How can I solve this issue as I have not got the single spade type fitting for the plug in the first picture.

    Thank Liam

  7. Out of interest though, no matter how fast an electric fan spins it will never really make boost as it is only ever pushing air but never compressing it like a conventional turbo/supercharger? Because that's the theory right? to compress air using a mechanical or electrical method? I've scratched my head about this for years and never found anything to push me to doing such a project until I come across this B69951BB-C78F-48CA-B950-F82BE27383A3_zps

This is a vortex c15 supercharger but I still don't fancy sticking £500 in to one. 😏

I'm so intrigued to see how well this turns out so please persist with it buddy and the best of luck to you sir 🙊

  8. Just a suggestion guys i have looked at this before n always thought the best plan of action would be remove the air con (who needs it we have windows) use the air con pump pully and belt as there already there. Mount the turbo to the old a/c bracket relocate filter in the grill to avoid water intake. Then run an intercoler. Thoughts would be grate I'm just throwing an Idear in there on my brake so I haven't totally thought it threw so don't judge hahaha

    Good luck x

    Edit -:- damn auto correct.

  9. Mk3 mr2/mrS wheels look similar but theyre 15" this appear to be 14"

Yeah my green ones are 14" and there isn't a single stamp on them. Not really fussed about binning them off but I was surprised at how light they are. And wouldn't want to leave them in the corner if there worth a few quid. 😞
