  1. i'll have a look around and see what i can find, i haven't seen any so far though.
  2. Just the standard, it seems there used to be a few boxes that were made to fit this by just bolting on but they've stopped making them!
  3. Yea the ones that are round my way (custom exhausts) aren't the best so would be a trip to Sheffield to get one, £250 which is a hell of a lot cheaper than importing a £430 back box over haha.
  4. Thanks for looking for me, but I'm trying to find something new for it, I'm being picky I know, haha
  5. Tbh I've been on this for weeks trying to find a backbox and I've been toying with the idea of a custom box, I just don't know where to go. It seems stupid to fit a whole exhaust system on a standard Glanza just to get a bit more sound out of the car.
  6. I've already looked into this one, it's only up to a '95 and they don't know if it will fit a '99 spec, they did do one specifically for the Glanza but Blitz discontinued it!
  7. I missed out a key point there, I meant aftermarket not OE haha. I'm struggling to find aftermarket as well though!
  8. Does anyone know if there are any backboxes are still being sold in the UK for Glanza's? I've tried to find one but the Nur Spec S is no more for the Glanza and the only thing I can find is the Buddy Club Spec II full system. I don't want to import one if I can avoid it!
  9. how much oil does the gearbox take? i've got mine going in for a full service next week and i need to get the bits together and i'm not sure how much to buy?
  10. I'm interested in knowing more about this as well, mine was sold to me lowered 30mm but I would like it a bit lower but I can't find any lowering springs that go past 30-40mm!
  11. I've just been in the club store, are any of the UKSO decals getting remade? They're out of stock and I would like a pair!
  12. Just a quick update on the Glanza, it has been in the body shop while I've been on holiday to repair some rust on the driver's side rear arch and some crowbar damage from when someone tried to pries the door open before I owned it. It went to Spray Bay in Immingham and I'm very impressed with their work, such good value for money and the result is really good, Especially around the door. If anyone in the Grimsby area is looking to get body work done I fully recommend them, and they're really nice guys too Here's a few photos of the before and after of the arch (I will post the door photos la
  13. just a quick update on my Glanza, it's been in and out of the garage the past few weeks, it's had a full service and according th the mechanic he's surprised that any fuel got through the fuel filter! it's also had a new panhard rod fitted, as the existing one was bent and wasn't appropriate with the car being lowered. it has also had a few bits like the boots on the front CV joints replaced, which seems to have eliminated the knocking sound, this is much better (and cheaper) than the original plan of changing both the front joints! But the big change is it now has some beautiful white Rota J
  14. haha, yea i think there are about four or five aren't there? six now including me =')
  15. thanks for the offer of the panhard rod callum! i have already got a whiteline adjustable one though, just need to find the time to fit it! and reece, i'm in grimsby!
  16. it's no a bad example, once all the teething problems are sorted out. hopefully they will sorted pretty soon too
  17. haha, i suspected that may be the case! it hasn't been through it's first MOT with me yet so fingers crossed there are any big issues which crop up there!
  18. it looks a bit better than it is! after driving it around for a few days it seems to be leaking as i have a small amount of water in the wheel well, and a knocking has developed on what i can hear is the front driver's side when turning right! and someone has tried to jack up the car on it's panhard rod from what i can see so the rear wheels aren't aligned. but... apart from that it's a beauty and i love it! haha, i have ordered a lot of parts to fix these problems so fingers crossed it will be a perfect little machine in a few weeks! thanks for welcoming me! =D
  19. thanks guys, when i finish work i will have a look and see if i can see anything, is it an easy fix? i've just bought my glanza and the car i had before this one just seemed to go on forever with no problems so i'm new to these little problems!
  20. I have a small amount of water in the spare wheel well on my Glanza, I have had a look around the tail lights but they appear to be dry, it has made the plywood and the carpet of the boot wet but only on the LHS near the boot lid which spreads about half way across. I don't know where it's coming from! Any help would be much appreciated!
  21. Hey everyone, I am pleased to annouce I am finally the proud owner of a Toyota Starlet Glanza V! I just wanted to say hello to everyone, my name is Kierra, and I'm from Lincolnshire, I've been wanting a Starlet for a good year and a half now after having my first car for three years - a very slow, very heavy Mk 4 VW Golf. Although I'm sad to see it go, after spending all of last weekend travelling to Wales to buy the car and taking it out to stretch its legs yesterday, it's safe to say I have fallen in love with the new purchase! It's a completely standard 1.3 turbo '98 spec, the only
  22. I did not realise they were that rare! Maybe better to keep it original although I do love the reflector panel on the earlier versions. =)
  23. I'm new to this forum and I'm thinking about buying my first Starlet! I've been offered a Mk3 GT Turbo in metallic green for a bit of a bargain price (due to the owner no longer having space for it), this isn't my ideal first choice, it has the quadlights which I really don't like, and I was just wondering... Will the Mk2 square headlights and grill fit on a Mk3 model? And if so, will they look odd or will they suit the car? And also if I can find the light panel for the boot would that fit? I'm brand new to these cars and don't know a whole lot about them so any help would be
