I had a smell when i ran it. Couldn't really tell tbh. The water level has been dropping quite quickly of recent, having to top it up a couple of times a week.

Hi people. Noticed my coolant level had dropped considerably the other week on my forged 4e. Ran some tests and couldn't find any leaks. I did notice that a fair amount of coolant had shot out the top of the expansion tank. Also ran it with the rad cap off and it will bubble continually. All of this to me points to head gasket. The engine, that was built not that long ago, was fitted with a 1.2 athena gasket. Have many of these failed before in a similar way? And should i set about getting the head off asap? Any help would be much appreciated.

Fitted the ORC 309 silent clutch on my 300hp build the other week. Excellent bit of kit. Super well made and feels a lot stronger than some others i have had fail on me. Only down side is, it's a bit of a pig to live with in traffic lol. On the plus side you wont need leg day in the gym!! 😂

Fitting instructions are very vague and all in japanese. Look out for a little paint line on the flywheel, pressure plate and clutch cover to keep them all the right way round.

700 for the clutch mate and they dropped the price on invoice to 250, so costing about 50-60 import I believe. Not had the invoice yet tho The clutch looks epic mate, very well made. Get yourself one on order ????

Haha the guy is full of shit. Took a year and 2 month to forge my car lol. A fucking YEAR!! Already brought 2 SPECS from him and both failed within a month. He also said he was going to build me a gearbox back in February using my old parts and some he claimed he had. 7 odd months later.....nothing. Still waiting on my flywheel and gear linkage arm that he said was posted about 2 weeks ago. The ORC came from japan in the time i have been waiting for my parts!! Think im well over due a feedback thread lol! Thanks

Cheers boss. Tuning developments said they don't recommend them as they are too heavy. Something about stressing the thrust washers. Thanks

All sorted now cheers lads. Used the extension bar from socket set to hold her in place lol. Whats the deal with the orc clutch release bearing? It doesn't have a clip to hold it on the clutch fork. I didn't think it would matter as its not going anywhere lol. Cheers
