Hey guys, I was wondering what I should do with my car come the dreaded MOT time. Fairly certain it won't pass due to damaged sill and blowing mani. What's the best way of disposing of it? Breaking? Straight to scrappy? Cheers guys, I'm going to be heartbroken, I love this car...

I think you're missing a sense of humour, they are jokes intended for cheeky chaps (and lass'). Not to be taken seriously, but possibly used to break the ice. I'm sure if you made him look like a dick he'd see the funny side. Anywho, 'You must be a lumberjack, because you gave me wood.' And any Subway 6" or 12" joke you can think of.

The roads round here for the past two days have been so dry and so gritted that I haven't seen any ice. I thought there was ice outside my house but it was just thick salt! Even where it wasn't gritted it was bone dry.

They should park a brand new Scooby down the road and watch it every day and every night until the wankers see it and think that it'd be a laugh to fuck another up and when they do fucking blat 'em. I'd slam them so hard to the floor they'd struggle to breath. Sad thing is I bet it's someone my age group too, if any of my friends went to do this they'd certainly get a firm smacking and I'd report them in a second. Twats, all of them. I think Ryno was just having a bit of a laugh! Bit of a harsh reaction buddy! But to do with your test, you failed due to driving potentially dangerously, you were in a dedicated left lane from the sounds of it and you should have either indicated to the right one lane if it were safe or continue off the roundabout in the lane you were in. Sucks, but thems be the rules of the road! It could have caused a crash. I made silly mistakes like that but if you correct them properly there is nothing they can do! Cheers.

Hey guys, thanks for looking. I recently decided to keep my car for another year and would like a half decent sound system in it, nothing fancy, just enough. I'm looking for pretty much everything I think: Smallish sub, amp, 6x9's and maybe an amp for those because the wiring in my car is terrible. Could anyone shed any light on a deal with all/any of this? I have no idea what all the figures mean, just looking in the dark really. And I'm an engineer! Anyone have a decent priced set up in their car they would recommend? Thanks again

I way prefer fifth gear as they do sections on Car tax, economy, different types of fuel, servicing and cars that may be affordable (i.e under £100,000). And they featured the Mark 2 Golf GTi the other day, a beaut! Top Gears alright though depending on what's on, more entertainment than a car show though. Cheers.

I am in the process doing what you did, I went from AS levels to a mechanical BTEC. Loving the Mechanical Engineering. Good job guys on the results looks impressive! I for one will be heading out tonight for a few bevvys as that seems what most people are doing. Cheers!
