im going to buy a boost gauge and im just looking around for a fitting guide, i know theres one in the how 2's but the pictures are just showing question marks and it seem spretty confusing with out them. anyone know where i can find a good simple guide to fit a gauge? thanks

i have a nice drive past a lambo garage on the way too college everyday, a stunning white lp640 with red interior in at the moment, only cars ive seen on the road worth mentioning are a black mclaren slr and a original ford gt40 ive seen a couple off times. been in a rolls royce phantom too, the guy stopped it and did its 0-60 which was pretty cool

my new forge bov arrived today and i want to make sure that i fit it right, ive removed the standard bov and had a look at how too fit the new one andi have come across 2 problems. 1. the largest rubber pipe connecting to the standard bov is too small for the new bov, so i guess i need a peice of pipe too extend it and i just want too know what size off pipe too get and where too get it. 2. the hole in the 16 valve efi pipe under the the standard bov, what is the best way too plug this? sorry if these are realy easy questions, i just dont want too somehow do this wrong thanks

that was the plan too buy the greddy but its suddenly gone up £30 so with delivery its about £140 so thats put me off i think ill just give the forge one a go

thanks i might get that then, i only ment it was cheap in comparison to the hks and blitz BOV's any idea on what sort of modification might be needed to fit it from the picture?

found this BOV http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=4461 good price but is it going to be going to be low quality at that price? anybody here have one of these? if so are they any good? does it look like much is needed to fit it?

had a problem like this on my old car with shuddering and shaking when stopped at lights feeling like it was canstantly about too stall, im not sure what the parts called but the problem was the sensor on the air intake and i just unplugged it and in ran fine, im not sayin to do that but its an area to check.

thanks alot, i thought i would be nothing to worry about just had too make sure, about the filter making the BOV more noticeable does that apply too the standard one becuase that all i have at the moment

i just fitted my apexi power intake today, and have just taken the gt for a quick drive to see how it is, and the noise the intake is making has got me quite woried it doesnt seem to have changed the sound as the revs get higher but as soon as i change gear there is what i can only descibe as a blow off valve sound, which i have never heard from an induction kit before, and my friend has the same apexi filter on his primera and his sounds nothing like this. is this just a turbo thing or has something gonewrong? the car is standard other than the apexi air filter

nil poi! how embarrasing, nevermind my apexi power induction kit arrived today so its all good

thanks, i think i'll stick with the apexi tests show its one of the best and im not too bothered about relocating it
