  1. Year: 1996

    Model: Glanza V

    MOT: 02 Sept 17

    Mileage: 198,924 km

    Description:

Sold For sale is my Starlet Glanza V, I purchased this car about a year ago as it was running a TD04 setup and i wanted the e-management ECU and turbo for my track car. I refitted it with a hybrid turbo and standard ECU and have used it as occasional weekend toy since then. Reason for sale is simply that it doesn't get used enough.

The car was imported in November 2006. There is a folder full of paperwork with the car, no service booklet (it would be in Japanese anyway however there is a lot of Japanese paperwork included) however it has loads of history in the form of receipts for various work carried out over the years.

Front bumper on the drivers has a few scratches and the paint isn't too great (see pictures below). There's a few odd marks here and there as you would expect from a car of this age. The engine bay could do with some TLC and the horn can be temperamental.

    Recent work:

    • Handbrake cable replaced
    • Oil and filter service
    • Cambelt (approx 2 years ago)
    • Anti roll bar drop links
    Modifcations:
    • Front mount intercooler
    • K&N air filter (relocated)
    • Mild steel manifold (unsure of make, but looks to be good quality)
    • Tein lowering springs
    • HKS Jasma exhaust
    • Decat pipe
    • CT9 Speed Vision Hybrid turbo (very good condition, covered approx 3k)
    • Walbro 255lph fuel pump
    • Oil catch tank
    • Civic alloy half rad
    • New Stage 2 techniclutch
    • Grooved front brake discs
    • Currently running 0.7 bar of boost

  2. Got the rear seat belts with that mate?

The condition is good from what I can remember.

I'm pretty sure I've scrapped the seat belts mate but I'll have a look tomorrow night when I go to my unit.. Your 150 Miles from me, I would post them as its to much of a pain!!

  3. I've put a new o ring on the dipstick and the leak seems to be lower than the rocker cover.. I've rebuilt the bottom end when I first got the car and it had the leak then, i can only think it's coming out of the head somewhere! Going to take the inlet off and have a good look.

    Thanks for you reply 😊

  4. Hello all!

Right my glanza track car has a oil leak what I can't work out where it's coming from, I'm 99% sure it's coming from the top end, the left top where the dipstick is.. It only leaks when it's hot and under load so can't get it to leak when the bonnet is up!

Has anyone had any trouble with the drill holes where the head is built what has the ball bearings in??

  5. 60mm Throttlebody is far to big for the standard manifold, standard is 50mm.. You could probably run a 55mm one but would have to weld a plate to it then bolt the body to that. You can buy throttlebodys off eBay but I'd say it would be a lot easier just to buy like a tuning developments complete manifold with a 60mm body!!
