Hello!
Things didn't go as well as I imagined this weekend.
Got a few wheel problem but most of all it started to snow, and it snowed pretty much, around 8 inches. But I got a few things done anyway.
Painted my mirrors white from black. And painted my rear brakes blue. Front brakes gets painted later, It got way to cold outside, but I will take them when I put the wheels on the car later.I am happy for now the way it looks, and Im excited how it will look with the wheels.

Wheels ordered, and tyres.
Wheels are: 16x7 ET35
Tires: 195/45
Think they will fit nice. Looking for a street rally look.
Gonna paint my rear brace bar light blue. The calippers same blue. searching for a front brace bar and that also gonna be light blue. Maybe my mirrors gonna be blue too. And the inside of the hood gonna be matte black.
Does anyone know if a front bracebar from a Golf Mk2 fits? Or how much you need to mod it to fit?
Updates is comming -
It's the civic model
Oh, haha. Sorry
-
Try and mod an ek civic lip
What is the "ek" ?
-
What kind of front splitter can I use on my N/A?
Does a spliter from another car fit? -
16x7 you can use 205/40, 205/45 or 195/40, 195/45
Yeah, I think I'll go with 195/45

I have had my thought about the Jr3 wheels. I don't want to spend so much money on the car, so I have found thees wheels.
16x7 et38. I'm gonna keep them in blue for a while, and have some blue details on the cars outside.Might need 5-10mm spacers to get them out a bit.
I don't really know what size of tyres I need to have. 195/45 ?
I think these wheels will sit nice. And if the blue color dont match the car, I'll paint them whit and test. Not sure yet if I-m gonna have my extra light bar left on the car with the wheels ?

Glanza ones dont have side repeaters although some are retro fitted when theyre imported. Other than that they are the same
Big thanks mate!
-
Is there any different between them?
I have a Starlet. Is Glanza wider?
Thanks! -
correct me if im wrong but arn't starlets on 14x6 et35 as standard ?
with an et of 40 and an extra inch width i suspect it might lead you into troubles with the back of the rim rubbing the shock/coilover on the front and inner arch on the rear
mine are et35 15 x 8.5 and i can just fit a finger between the coilover and the back of the rim.
I dont know about the standard wheels. But the car has Et39 original, my old wheels had 16x7,5 Et35.
If Et40 will rub the coils a little bit, the I use spacers to get the wheels out.
If you can pu a finger between it's a good space. Usal there is just a few millimeters between the chocks and wheels with some alloys.
Like it was on my old Audi below
But If I buy Et25, I think the wheels gonna poke to much, and then there is nothing I can do about it.
With ET40 I can use spacers

Mate, there's no Glanzas here, or even starlets for that matter, that's not stopping me from building my LHD Glanza
Oh, cool!
Keep it up
