hi mate, would the 4efte clutch fit onto/into the gear box? like say i fited the 4efte clutch to the fly wheel then put the N/A gear box on it, it would all fit and run properly?!!

BUMP! still not entirely sure what i need for it! SOMEONE HELP PLEAAAAAAAASE!

Will it need a new one? the standard one is in it atm, but fitting a turbo lump. does the standard one run enough pressure or will i need an uprated one?!

lol ive got an NA wiv no power steering and no aircon, i go gym 4 times a week and i never ever have a problem with turning it! maybe i didnt spell it out rite! its an na, and ive just brought a turbo engine, but i dont have power steering or ac so i removed em both. to be onest the steering is light as any way and i never hav difficulty turning it on the spot. so with both off i shud see sum gain over standard, but not a lot is what ure saying

hi all when they take the BHP figure of the engine in the factory from new, do they do it with the engine just on a system, or when its in the car and on a road? reason am askin, ive taken the power steering pump and ac pump of my 4efte, and my mate reckons they would sap about 3-5 bhp each. is he accurate with this? and if so thats like sayin the lump wud technicaly be an extra 6-10 bhp more than the standard 4efte?! cheers

guna use my standard gearbox for a while, and mount it to a 4efte.. however i need a new clutch. now im on the understanding that the 4efe clutch is different to the 4efte ( so im told ), so if i get an upgraded clutch for an N/A gear box will it fit on the Turbo flywheel? or does it need to be a turbo clutch?! if anyone knows how many splines the turbo clutch and the N/A , this will help me greatly as well!!

you get rid of it cuz it was bob or sumfing?! and when u say they were crap how cum? as in material wise or angles?

Hi all, how many parts are there to a glanza exhaust? the manifold from turbo, then decat or cat pipe, then is it a straight section all the way back, or is there a down pipe from the bottom of that? i have a feelin there is the down pipe then a centre section, then a back box. am i right? if so is anyone selling a standard downpipe and/or an aftermarket exhaust?

my mechanic chum asked " how many splines are on the input shaft of a glanza gear box, the same as N/A or different?" Reason im askin is cuz when i drop in the fte i will be geting an Exedy clutch or sumthing similar, and need to get correct fittment. Cheers

is the glanza clutch the same as the N/A one? like same shape and part number ect or are they different? Also what size is the standard glanza exhaust bore?

would i need a a new radiator or would the original starlet one be fine? Anything else i need to know about it or things i may struggle with? What about dials? will the 82 loom fit into a 91 glanza dial cluster? Has anyone on here used an EP82 engine and ecu ect in there starlet? Cheers Jay

nice one, are the induction pipes routed the same way? just checkin cuz i wud need a fm or tm ic and wanna know if i need a glanza or GT one. sorry for sounding like such a noob everyone i just have never looked into turboing my starlet before!!

im saving for another car as well as turbo'd starlet lol and they are like 2k wht ure advertising arnt they?

what does AFAIK mean?! so do they have same mounting points then? also would i need a gt exhaust or will a glanza full exhaust fit straight onto a gt? one more thing, would a starlet gearbox fit a GT engine? Cheers Jay

Hi all, are the GT engines the same power and torque wise as the glanza? and also do they have the same shape ect and engine mounts, and gear box, turbo ect ect. reason being, i may just bang in a fte, and want to know if i need the engine out of the glanza or if it would be ok to use the GT's. one more thing, would i have trouble getting a gt ecu and loom to work with a starlet? or wud i need the ecu and loom from a glanza?
