could running at a bar this way make roughly 200 brake. anyone done it? funds are limited but have front mount, hybrid, mani, decat, air filt relo,full exhaust. would people run fcd etc or save up n wait till i can emb etc? cheers craig

i know durin winter our cars smoke when cold because of condensation etc but this mornin mine seemed 2 do it for ages n when i.dint to my destination n it'd cleared i pressed accelerator lightly upto bout 2k n it started doin it again. Is there any checks i could do to determine weither oil seals or something bad has happened. Its always warmed up off boost 4 bout 15 mins. Turbo timered cool down. I have decat uprated mani, hks hi power. Cheers craig

fair enough mate. Well .6 on my ct9 made 122. Plus aren't hybrids similar power at standard boost. When u map n run 1.2 i'm hoping hybrid will give better results.

went on rollers at monster today. made 122.3 fully standard in the summer. now with my parts on i'm running 162.0 at .6-.7 bar. gt spec 2 hybrid tt mani mm decat hks actuator manual bc mm air filter relo hks hi power exhaust think thats it engine wise just wanted to share my happiness with everyone as its a big improvement cheers c

well hopefully my thread won't get hijacked again. cars still running fine. after year so we'll see. now runnin gt spec hybrid, tt mani cheers mikey g, monster motorsport decat, filter relo, hks actuator, walbro fuelie, on standardish boost till i can afford management n front mount. now lowered and new white grids are on way. maybe repaint green. dunno tohugh/ cheers

its quite steep and very narrow. don't believe i cud go at much of an angle due to surrounding bushes etc.once its off drive i cud park on the front maybe. i'm thinking bumper off or if i got coilovers. wud adjusting them take ages? cheers for the replies so far peeps.

i was looking to lower my car. have parts ready. decided to check my clearance of the drive as its a ramp down onto road. not much clearance as have toms kit on a gt. should i a) sell kit and get standard bumper and lower. lower it and risk not gettin off drive. c) lower it and make a lil ramp to get me off drive because i do like the toms bumper. also whats peoples opinions on the toms kit over standard? cheers craig

well i own a quad gt. been your house for that n/a shelf. could roll round sunday if its any help? know how to wire up a rev gauge? have one like pavs with the shift light. 4 wires but instructions are rubbish. cheers craig

boost tees aren't expensive. Think turbosmarts are like 50. All they do is create a controlled boost leak. Providin its decent quality i don't c why price would matter. Mines a dawes device that i got of a friends scoob. Not let me down yet....

i hav no leaks because its all new hoses n checked. new gaskets all round. only thing is wastegate not opening. but that should run mega boost. not hardly any boost. 'm annoyed because i tohught the gt was gonna be a massive success. i'm sure it will be but any ideas. also i read that i need a lil reducer nut bullet ting in my pipe btween actuator n compressor? would a mbc sort this? cheers craig

if your wastegate doesn't open porperly. mine moves but gets stuck on down pipe flange. if i correct this problem with mr grinder. would i have my problems sorted like.... boost gauge nly reading .5 although it sumtimes judders like fuel cut, actuator doersn't make a difference to what boost is shown on gauge. goin out my mind because i swapped to a gt spec which i thought was good. not tappin into its potential yet. have mani, de cat, adjustable atuator, filter relo, fuel pump. wanna run .8 for bout 150 - 160 brake. cheers craig

i meant full kit sorry. like rob said it soon adds up. is your engine forged? or you running it on low boost?
