i tryed but they wanted twenty quid. qouted the codes off here and everything. could itt have been a silly man or not? i went in and said i would like these covers please. showed the codes n he came back saying there wrong. so jus wondered the codes on here are right? cheers craig

yeah i reckon its down to this aswell. mine doesn't idle high though. i start mine up fine, idles fine, go to drive off an struggle to compress my accelerator without force. obvs with force it stops sticking but i then either spin my wheels or jus pull off dead slow but with high revs. my mates dad is workin on it with me. we're gonna look into makin a holder for the cables exactly the same as the old manifold but will clamp or bolt onto the rolla mani. whil i sit here typin i just thought won't the rolla our manis are off have the cable holder that sits in the rubber bung thing? i'm insur

my throttle pedal is now sticking all the time. on a tem minute drive it'll stick bout 6 times. does it in all gears. it sticks an doesn't move so i'm rolling at idle eventually with foot pressure it stops sticking and then because of the force it revs too much. i dunno how else to explain it. like my throttle cable is gettin stuck somehow closed. so its on tick over with no throttle open. so my pedal doesn't move an then suddenly does? any ideas? tighten cable maybe? i've looked at pedal an that seems fine. only since i put rolla mani on its done it. cheers craig

went to my local toyota today armed with the codes from the clear indicator section. they said the codes were wrong and for clear indicator lenses they'd want 19.67 each. 40 quid roughly for two bits of clear plastic. i walked away laughin. any idea where i can get clear indicator lenses cheaper from? or was the sales man lying to me? anby ideas cheers string

when fitting the corrolla mani is there any torque settings when bolting onto my engine? or do i jus tighten up as much as i can? cheers string

got my corrolla mani for 30 englisdh pounds today. just wondering if i need to buy new gaskets for the manifold an throttle body. think the numbers are 22271 - 11030 and 17177 - 11070. also do i have to take the fuel rail off because i'm scared of mashing the o rings and leaking fuel and how long did it take people roughly and is it a case of unscrew everything an swap over? jus follow the guide on here kinda thing. any help would be great. cheers string

got my rolla manifold today and wanted to get everything ready to fit 2moro. jus wondered bout the longer vaccuum pipe? is it jus 1 longer pipe or all of them? also i think someone said i didn't need a longer one n i jus unbolt a sensor an move it somewhere? not sure if thats right. any help or pics would be vastly apprciated. many thanks string

well bought it for 1200 an it had 38k. came wit sr stickers an tte spoiler. i love it. then x mas came an i bought some pi springs an grids. also got tte box of si, fishy (sorry can't member name) took starlet and sr badges off boot an bonnet. and thats bout it so far. jus waxed it up and its looking brand new. thinking bout black bonnet and colour coding wing mirrors. mayb take door mouldings off an lose the sr stickers. also rolla mani an clear indicators etc any thoughts?

i recently bought a tte backboxfor my starlet. its a sr replica without the exhaust but now i have it anyway i've took old backbox off an put tte one on. clamped up fine. a day later it started rattleing. i've had the car up on ramps an its the clamp from backbox to the long pipe (not very technical) looks to me that the long pipe from the cat is smaller diameter than my tte backbox. so my first question is do sr starlets have larger diameter exhaust systems? 2nd question is what can i do to fix it? any help or advice will be obliged cheers string

you know the silver dust cover that sits in the middle of the drum in the centre of my bolts. theres none on the front. it covers the pin holding my drum on i imagine. sorry the explanations not good. anyway... if i have centre caps on my wheels can i take the dust cover off completely because it pushes my rear caps off so it looks weird? if not then i'll paint it black. cheers string

had a look on here but could only find how to swap the dampers an springs. was wonderin how to change the standard springs to lowered ones? the guide on here tells me how to get the whole unit off, i then clamp the springs but how do i get them off? any help will be appreciated thanks. mayb pics aswell? cheers string

dunno if this topic is in the right place? anyway how do u dril lthe airbox on a standard starlet. got a trd panel filter for crimbo an want to drill the box air goes in the bottom so do i need to take my air intake thing off from the bottom or leave that on an jus drill next to it. how did poeple do theres? any help would be much obliged cheers string
