  1. incorrect, stroke will not be incresed by grinding the crank smaller, stroke will only be incresed by offset grinding the crank which you cant do on the starlet cranks as the pistons will hit the head even with custom made pistons, moving the gudgon pin higher will also cause problems with the rod hitting the side of the bores, it is not as simple and grinding the crank smaller and getting pistons custom made Dale
  2. Considering YBY's is 175GBP it is very similer price to the dodgy ebay coolers and is a high quality cooler not a cheap cooler made in china....
  3. Jons core is a PWR core, we use and reccomend them on everything we do Dale
  4. there are a couple going on cars as we speak! so it wont be long before the word gets around dale
  5. nope, i had a 5efe to put together for it but sold the car before i had the chance to finish it.
  6. i have proven it can be done and be reliable heaps of times, we have quite a few turbo 4efe's driving around australia.. thats what i love, when people say it cant be done or wont be reliable i do it just to prove them wrong! not 1 of them has broken a engine part, i broke one gearbox and that was when i dumped the clutch at 8000rpm in second gear to do a burnout! despite what ivan says he dosent know anything about my car other that what was posted on the au starlet club site, there are only a few people that know everything and they dont post on the site or know anyone on the site! not ever
  7. hahahah once again ivan talks things he knows nothing about!! LOL you wouldnt know what boost my car ran ivan, hell you have never been it, never seen under the bonnet of it, never seen it on the road... and you were there when it made over 200hp at the tyres on the dyno day.... there are a few people in the au starlet club that have seen the peak hold on the eboost at 22psi reliable?? hell yeh, the car has done over 70,000km turboed, the engine has 170,000km on it, the new owner drives it harder than what i did, did it ever break anything in the engine?? NO IT DIDNT, lots of other people
