its an un organsied event, its just a sea front with a big ass car park with modified cars queing traffic for a good round 3 miles. u'll see some awesome cars. and some very chav'd up paxo's

This event is hosted by UK modified, so although its not restricted entry for cars to go, it wont be like your usual saturday nights there. There should be some pretty bad cars turning up.... see flyer below xx

Howdie everybody!!!

Its UK Modified cruise time at Southend on Saturday 6th June along the seafront. Currently there are 10 of us going - meeting up at Basildon late afternoon/early evening and going in convoy to the front and hopefully being able to park together if all goes well.

There is also a thread up on TGTT and it would be really great if we could get the Stralets out in force!!

Is anyone running on 16" wheels? Ive got 15's at the moment but ive been told it would look much better running on 16's.

I cant recall seeing a Glanza on 16's and want to know if anyone is doing it and how they are finding the ride etc...

It looks great either way, depends if you're looking to go mean and have everything try and race you, or have a friendly looking car lol! Maybe try and find a way of sticking them on temporarily so you can change it depending on what kind of mood you're in

went to the show yesterday, was there all day n gotta say there was plenty of amazing cars, some serious cash spent on them, there were loads of verities of cars, BUT ONLY THREE STARLETS!!

i saw one silver N/A with black wheels, a grey gt with some flashing becons on the wings??? and a silver glanza with black 17s, not lowered or anything...... bit dissapointed to be fair but did enjoy talkin to the skyline owners and that.

also me fukin power steering belt snapped on the way!! lol

I was there, it wasnt a bad day. There were a couple more starlets in the car park (probably including mine and yours lol!) Would be nice to have a stand at the next one though.

whos coming to the show?? we should plan on meeting up first guys

Is anyone going to the Modified Live show at Oulton Park next weekend?

we may even need a bigger location!

we might have to re-shedule to time... as i dont finish till 6... then i need to clean the car!

I live in Hatfield, so i'll meet you there but i have no idea where the university multi storey car park is????

Just spent the last hour clarifying number plate laws... what a drain on my only day off!! it can go anywhere on the front bumper provding it is visable. is the answer i got from the sgt!

Now boy dont i wish i had that officers badge number, he'd b gettin a bill for 2 cable ties!

Off to the station now to clarify if i have been done for a section 59.

Lets us know how it goes, the police are arseholes, and if they have nothing major going on will pick on us. I had it a while ago at Southend and they were trying me for everything - luckily they couldnt get anything to stick.

You are right about the number plate, out it back where it was mate and if you see that policeman again, tell him to fuck right off.... hmm actually dont do that because you will end up in trouble :-)

If you are innocent then you have nothing to worry about, just be careful when you drive in that area in the future.
